Monday Night RAW comes on the air with a shot of the crowd. The camera pans the crowd as we see fans waving at the camera and holding up signs, trying to get seen on television. After a huge pyro display the shot then goes to ringside where we see our commentators for the evening – Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler. They are sitting at the commentary table and are looking at the camera.

Jim Ross: Welcome to WWF Monday Night Raw! I'm you're host Jim Ross alongside my partner in crime – Jerry "The King" Lawler. Tonight we have a great for you. We are going to see the crowning of the first WWF World Tag Team champions – who will win between The Powers of Pain and Larry Zbyszko and Tony Garea?

Jerry "The King" Lawler: That's not all – we are going to see a special contract signing for a Royal Rumble Match – Bad News Allen and WWF Intercontinental champion Adrian Adonis. The two will make it official and sign on the dotted line. It should be pretty interesting to see these two in the ring at the same time!

Jim Ross: Well, we aren't going to wait any longer. We are going to go to the ring for our first match of the evening. It is a number one contender's match where we will see Tina Moretti taking on Mildred Burke. The winner of this match will face Chyna live on pay per view at The Royal Rumble!

Mildred Burke defeated Trish Stratus with an Alligator Clutch to earn a championship match at the Royal Rumble. 

As Burke is celebrating her victory the shot goes backstage where we see Chyna and Michael Cole standing in front of a Monday Night Raw backdrop.

Michael Cole: Chyna, what are your thoughts now that Mildred Burke has earned a championship match at The Royal Rumble?

Chyna: Well Cole, I am going to destroy her at The Royal Rumble. She is a great competitor but she is no match for me and at The Royal Rumble I will prove just that. See you soon Burke. Get ready and good luck – you'll need it!

The show then goes to a commercial break. When the show comes back on the air we see "Sweet -n- Sour" Larry Sweeney standing beside Michael Cole in front of a RAW backdrop. Michael Cole sees the camera and smiles.

Michael Cole: I am joined by Larry Sweeney. What brings you to the World Wrestling Federation?

Larry Sweeney: Well Michael Cole, I am looking to make a family here in the World Wrestling Federation. I've been watching lots of wrestling over the last little while and I've discovered some great talent. I am talking championship calibur talent. I am looking to make The Sweeney Family a staple here. As a matter of fact, I have brought a wrestler like no other here to the building for tonight's Monday Night Raw. I flew him all the way from Japan and he is going to get a working visa soon. He just signed a multi year contract with the World Wrestling Federation. His name is The Great Muta!

The shot then goes to the right side as we see The Great Muta walk on camera. Larry Sweeney smiles and then continues to talk.

Larry Sweeney: You see Michael Cole, The Great Muta is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever lace a pair of boots. He's a legend in Japan and there is no doub that he is going to make a name for himself here in the World Wrestling Federation! As a matter of fact he can beat any one thrown at him. So right now I am issuing an open challenge to anyone who wants to step up to the plate and face him.

A moment later we see Hillbilly Jim walk on camera. He takes the microphone away from Michael Cole and starts to talk.

Hillbilly Jim: Larry Sweeney, you've been running your mouth about The Great Muta for too long now. You issue an open challenge? Well I accept. I will face The Great Muta and I will send him back to Japan. See you in the ring, the match starts after the commerical and I am going to ring his bell!

The shot then goes back to Larry Sweeney. He has the microphone in hand and then starts to speak again.

Larry Sweeney: Well, we have the first idiot who thinks they can beat The Great Muta. So right after the commercial we are going to have a fight. He's ready as he'll ever be. Hillbilly Jim, say your prayers because your career here in the World Wrestling Federation is over!

The show then goes to a commercial break.

The Great Muta (w/ Larry Sweeney) defeated Hillbilly Jim with a Moonsault!

Match Notes – The Great Muta made short work of Hillbilly Jim.

After the match Larry Sweeney grabbed a microphone and said that he is issuing another open challenge to anyone who thinks they can beat The Great Muta. The two then walk to the backstage area as the show then goes to Justin Credible, who is backstage with a signapore cane in hand.

Justin Credible: Since everyone is making challenges left, right and center, I am issuing a challenge to The Sandman. Sandman, you cane swinging, beer chugging bum, you're someone who I really have a problem with. We go back many years ago when we were in a different company. Tonight Sandman, I want you in the ring for a match!

The shot goes to our commentators.

Jim Ross: Justin Credible is issuing a challenge to The Sandman!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: That's right Ross. Will The Sandman accept?

Jim Ross: I am sure we will find out later on. Right now we are going to go to our World Tag Team championship match. It's The Powers of Pain taking on Larry Zbyszko and Tony Garea! That match will happen right after these words from our sponsors!

The show then goes to a commercial. When we come back we go to the ring for the Tag Team championship match.

The Powers of Pain defeated Larry Zbyszko and Tony Garea for the WWF World Tag Team Championship.

Match Notes – After the match the two teams brawled around ringside and into the crowd. They had to be held apart by security. This is not the last of what we will see between these two teams.

The show then goes to a Royal Rumble logo on the screen. We then see Sean Mooney standing in the front of the Royal Rumble logo. He smiles at the camera and then starts to talk.

Sean Mooney: Welcome everyone to The Royal Rumble Report. We are just a couple of the weeks from The Royal Rumble. We are going to kick off the road to Wrestlemania with this big pay per view! We have two new matches for the pay per view. We are going to see Bad News Allen take on Adrian Adonis for the WWF Intercontinental championship! Plus we will see Chyna defend her WWF Women's championship against Mildred Burke! So let's get to those next ten wrestlers who have entered The Royal Rumble match...

He pauses for a moment and then continues.

Sean Mooney: Entering this year's Royal Rumble match are – 'Exotic' Adrian Street, Scott Casey, Dutch Savage, Nacho Barerra, Lanny Poffo, Sgt. Slaughter, Dan Spivey, Buddy Rogers, Nick Bockwinkel and Paul Ellering! It's every man for themselves – there are no friends or partners and one man will walk out WWF World Heavyweight champion!

The show then goes to a commercial break.

Back from the commercial break we go to the commentators.

Jim Ross: The Sandman has accepted Justin Credible's challenge. That match is next!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: I can't wait for that one. Let's go to the ring!

Justin Credible defeated The Sandman with That's Incredible!

Match Notes – This was a wild match with a lot of brawling. Justin Credible nailed The Sandman in the head with the Singapore cane after the match. The two then fought up the aisle and to the backstage area. From there they ended up in the parking lot before Federation officials broke up the fight!

The show then goes to a commercial break.

Back from the commercial break we go to the ring. Michael Cole is standing in the ring. There is a table set up with two chairs.

Michael Cole: At this time, I'd like to invite both WWF Intercontinental champion Adrian Adonis and Bad News Allen to the ring.

Both wrestlers come to the ring with separate entrances. They both sit down at the table.

Michael Cole: If you would both sign the contract we can make things official!

Both men sign the contract. Then Adrian Adonis waffles Bad News Brown with the Intercontinental championship! The two fight around the ring until they get broken up by Federation Officials. The show then goes to a commercial break.

Back from the break we go to our commentators.

Jim Ross: Well it's been a hell of a show and it is now time for our main event!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Let's go to the ring. I can't wait for this match.

Paul Ellering beat Scott Casey with a Neck Breaker!

Match Notes – Paul Ellering dominated the match and got the easy win over Scott Casey.

After the match Paul Ellering grabbed the microphone.

Paul Ellering: Ladies and Gentlemen you are looking at the first WWF World Heavyweight champion!

The shot then went back to our commentators.

Jim Ross: Well, Paul Ellering with a great victory over Scott Casey. Will Paul Ellering win The Royal Rumble? We will find out in a few weeks. Until then, we will see next week for another edition of Monday Night Raw! Goodnight everyone!

Sunday Night Heat comes on the air with a shot of the underground parking lot. We then see a white stretch limousine pull up. After a couple of moments we see the driver get out and walk to the back of the car and opens the door. First out steps "Sweet -n- Sour" Larry Sweeney. He is wearing a purple dress coat with white dress pants. He looks at the camera and laughs.

Larry Sweeney: I've got a huge surprise for everyone tonight. You know, a lot of people have a problem with Larry Sweeney. Well tonight I am going to reveal to you my new bodyguard. As a matter of fact I am going to reveal who he is right now! Come on out!

A few moments pass before we see "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry step out. We can hear the fans in the building cheer. He is wearing a black leather jacket and black dress pants. Out steps The Great Muta. They then walk off camera as the shot goes to the commentators for the evening.

Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to Sunday Night Heat. We are coming to you from Chicago, Illinois and tonight we are going to see the crowning of the WWF European championship. Who will get the belt? We will find out soon enough.

Jimmy Hart: That's right Ross. Tonight is going to be a good show. We already saw Larry Sweeney's surprise here tonight, I am sure there are going to be some surprises too! Let's go to the ring for our first match in the European championship tournament!

Disco Inferno beat The Warlord with a Last Dance to advance to the finals in the tournament.

Match Notes – Good back and forth match that saw a couple of near falls. Disco Inferno was able to put away The Warlord.

Backstage we go to Jim Neidhart with Michael Cole standing in front of a Sunday Night Heat backdrop.

Michael Cole: Jim Neidhart, in just a few moments you step into the ring with Billy Gunn. You have the opportunity tonight to win the WWF European championship. What are your thoughts going into your first match of a potential two matches tonight?

Jim Neidhart: Well Cole it's very simple. I am going to make Billy Gunn feel like he got hit by a Mack truck. I am going to be the first European champion and there is nobody who can stop me.

A moment later The Mountie walks on camera with his Shock Stick.

The Mountie: Anvil, if you win that belt tonight, I challenge you to put it on the line against me at The Royal Rumble!

Jim Neidhart: Mountie, what you did to me last week, I want revenge and I will put the belt on the line. If you want the strap, all you have to do is beat me. HAHAAHA!

The show then goes to a commercial break.

Jim Neidhart defeated Billy Gunn with an Anvil Flattener to advance to the finals in the tournament.

Match Notes – A decent match with some good action.

The shot then goes to The Sweeney Family's locker room. We see The Great Muta and Larry Sweeney on a black leather couch. Mark Henry is standing by the door as he is their body guard.

Larry Sweeney: Muta, you face Lanny Poffo in a match. I know you're going to beat him but what I want you to do tonight is send him packing and making him leave The World Wrestling Federation!

The shot then goes to a commercial break.

Jim Ross: Well, The Great Muta is about to face Lanny Poffo.

Jimmy Hart: The Great Muta is going to demolish him!

Jim Ross: Let's go to the ring!

The Great Muta (w/ Larry Sweeney and Mark Henry) pinned Lanny Poffo.

Match Notes – Lanny Poffo was on offense early on in the match and nearly pinned The Great Muta several times. Muta came back and ended up pinning him for the win.

The show then goes to a commercial break.

We then go to the ring for our next match.

Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart pinned Disco Inferno to become the first WWF European champion!

Match Notes – Good match between these two.

After the match, The Mountie with Shock Stick in hand comes down to the ring and gets in Neidhart's face. The two go nose to nose as the show goes off the air.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW PREVIEW

WWF Monday Night Raw comes to you live from Buffalo, New York. It's the final Monday Night RAW before The Royal Rumble. We are going to see a match between two wrestlers chosen at random. The winner enters the Rumble at number 30 and the loser enters the Rumble first. Anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation and we will see all the WWF Superstars as we gear up for the first and one of the biggest pay per views of the year. This will be one episode you won't want to miss!

The show opens with a big pyro display. After that the camera pans the crowd where we see the rabid fans holding up signs and waving at the camera trying to get seen on television. The shot then goes to our commentators for the evening. They are sitting at the commentary table.

Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to Buffalo, New York! Welcome everyone to the final Monday Night Raw before The Royal Rumble! We have a big show for you tonight. In our main event we are going to see two wrestlers picked at random. They will have a match and the winner enters the Rumble at number 30. The loser enters the Rumble first. What will happen in that match and who will be in it? Only time will tell.

The shot then goes on the entrance way as we hear a familiar voice.

Larry Sweeney: Monday Night RAW! Buffalo, New York! The Sweeney Family has arrived at Monday Night RAW! I am not alone. With me is the future of this company, The Great Muta!

We see The Great Muta walk in front of Larry Sweeney as they continue to walk down the entrance ramp.

Larry Sweeney: And "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry. He's got our backs. He's watching out because everyone wants to take out Larry Sweeney.

Larry Sweeney, Mark Henry and The Great Muta enter the ring.

Larry Sweeney: So tonight, I am issuing an open challenge. Anyone who wants to step up to the plate and face my man – The Great Muta, well come out here right now and get the butt whooping you deserve!

The shot then went to the entrance way. We see Marcus Alexander Bagwell come out. He walks down the entrance ramp – slapping hands with the ringside fans. He then climbs into the ring and we have our first match of the evening.

The Great Muta (w/ Larry Sweeney and Mark Henry) pinned Marcus Alexander Bagwell after a moonsault!

Match Notes – Bagwell nearly put Muta away but couldn't get the job done. Muta came back and hit a moonsault for the pin and the win.

After the match the shot goes backstage. We see The Sandman and Justin Credible fighting in the back hall of the arena. The two trade punches and kicks. They end up fighting to the exit door of the arena. Justin Credible grabs The Sandman and whips him into the door. The Sandman stumbles out and the two trade punches outside. Eventually Federation officials come to break it up.

The shot then goes to a commercial break.

After the commercial break we go back to The Sandman and Justin Credible fighting. The Federation officials could not keep them apart. They then fight down the entrance ramp and into the ring. Justin Credible manages to hit The Sandman with a Piledriver. Referees come in and they hold them apart. We then hear some familiar music. Vince McMahon's music hits and the crowd goes crazy. He comes out and stops at the top of the entrance ramp.

Vince McMahon: The Sandman, Justin Credible.. since you two can't stop fighting, how about at The Royal Rumble you two meet in a Steel Cage Match!

The shot then goes to our commentators for the evening.

Jim Ross: Well there is another match added to The Royal Rumble. We are going to see The Sandman take on Justin Credible in a Steel Cage. It's the only way to settle this feud! Now we are going to go to a commercial break but when we come back we are going to see Mark Henry, that's right – the body guard of Larry Sweeney and The Great Muta take on Ken Shamrock!

The show then goes to a commercial break.

Ken Shamrock beat Mark Henry with a Ankle Lock!

Match Notes – Great match between these two with many near falls. After the bout the two brawled to the backstage area.

The shot then goes backstage where we see The New Age Outlaws with WWF Women's champion Chyna. Chyna has her championship belt draped over her shoulder. Road Dogg sees the camera and starts talking.

Road Dogg: The Royal Rumble – 30 Men enter, only one survives. You see I am going to be crowned champion and if it's not me – It'll be Billy. Plus – Chyna over here, she faces Mildred Burke. She's going to retain the belt. When the night is over we are going to party and paint the town red! See you in Tampa!

The shot then goes to our commentators.

Jim Ross: Things are heating up here in the World Wrestling Federation!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: We have another match lined up for you – it's Bad News Allen taking on Lanny Poffo and it happens right now!

Bad News Allen defeated Lanny Poffo with a Ghetto Blaster.

Match Notes – This was a very good match. Bad News Allen looks good here going into the pay per view.

After the match Bad News Allen grabs the microphone and says that he is the next WWF Intercontinental champion and that chump Adrian Adonis will be humiliated live on pay per view!

The show then goes to a commercial break.

The shot then goes to Vince McMahon backstage in his office. He is wearing a black suit with a purple pocket square. He sees the camera and starts to talk.

Vince McMahon: So announced on WWF.com, we are going to have an interesting match for tonight's main event. Two superstars will be chosen at random. The winner of the match enters at number thirty in The Rumble. The loser enters first. So with out wasting any more time let's choose those wrestlers!

Vince McMahon reaches into a clear giant drum thing and pulls out two names. He looks at both names and smiles.

Vince McMahon: The two names pulled out – we've got Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig taking on The One Man Gang!

The shot then goes to our backstage interviewer – Michael Cole.

Michael Cole: Well we just heard who will be competing in tonight's main event. I have one of those gentlemen with me right now. Here is Mr. Perfect.

We see Curt Hennig in his blue singlet. He smiles as he comes on camera.

Michael Cole: Tonight you have a big opportunity. Tonight you could possibly earn the right to enter The Royal Rumble match at number thirty. What are your thoughts going into a huge match like this?

Curt Hennig: Well Michael Cole it is very simple. I am the best wrestler in the company and I am going to win The Royal Rumble because I am absolutely perfect. Now if you don't mind I am going to get ready for my match. See you nerd!

Mr. Perfect walks off camera.

Michael Cole: Well, there you have it. Back to you Ross and Jerry!

The shot then goes to our commentators at the ringside commentary table.

Jim Ross: Well, Mr. Perfect sure is confident about his match with The One Man Gang.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Yeah but he shouldn't take One Man Gang lightly – he's no bum. He can easily squash Perfect and earn that number thirty spot!

Jim Ross: Well we have world that Michael Cole is standing backstage with none other than The One Man Gang. Let's go to them!

The shot then goes backstage where we see Michael Cole with The One Man Gang.

Michael Cole: One Man Gang, tonight you step into the ring in a very important match for you. You face Curt Hennig for the chance to enter the Royal Rumble at number thirty. What are your thoughts?

One Man Gang: Thoughts? I have no thoughts. I know though that I am going to beat Perfect and then go on to win The Royal Rumble. There ain't no doubt about that! Curt Hennig is a tremendous wrestler. He can go in the ring when that bell sounds. When you step into the ring with me you're going to get squashed! See you in the ring pumpkin!

The show then goes to a commercial break.

Mr. Perfect beat One Man Gang with a Hennig Plex.

Match Notes – A solid match despite it being short.

The shot then goes to a Royal Rumble graphic on the screen. We then see Sean Mooney standing in front of a Royal Rumble graphic. He sees the camera and then starts talking.

Sean Mooney: The Royal Rumble is this Sunday and the card is absolutely loaded. Let's run down the card – shall we? It's Justin Credible taking on The Sandman in a Steel Cage Match. Then we have WWF World Tag Team champions – The Powers of Pain taking on Tony Garea and Larry Zbyszko!

He pauses for a moment and then continues.

Sean Mooney: Also Jim Neidhart will face The Mountie for the European championship. Chyna will face Mildred Burke and Adrian Adonis will face Bad News Allen for the Intercontinental championship. Plus the Royal Rumble match! It's every man for themselves. It's going to be wild. Don't you dare miss it! See you at The Rumble!

The show then goes off the air.

Sunday Night Heat hits the airwaves with a preview of this Sunday's WWF Royal Rumble Pay Per View! What will go down before the big pay per view? Who will show up on Sunday Night Heat? We will find out.

Sunday Night Heat comes on the air with a big pyro display. We then see a shot of our commentators for the show – Jim Ross and Jimmy Hart. They are sitting at the commentary table.

Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to Sunday Night Heat. We are just about an hour away from The Royal Rumble pay per view! As we get closer we can feel the electricity in the air. I can't wait for The Royal Rumble Jimmy, what are your thoughts going into the first pay per view of the World Wrestling Federation?

Jimmy Hart: You're right Ross, we can feel the tension in the air. Tonight one man will walk out WWF World champion. Thirty men enter and only one survives. It's every man for themselves!
I have word that someone has arrived in the underground parking lot! Let's go to that!

The shot then goes to the underground parking lot. We see a black stretch limousine pull up. After a few moments the driver gets out and opens the back door. Out steps the owner of the World Wrestling Federation – Vince McMahon. We hear the fans cheer loudly in the arena. The camera goes directly on Vince.

Vince McMahon: Tonight is going to be a great night, I can feel it. Who will walk out Federation champion? We will find out by the end of the night. Now don't mind me – I have some business to take care of!

The shot then goes to the ring for our first match of the show.

The Great Muta defeated Koko B. Ware with a Moonsault!

Match Notes – This was a great back and forth match. Great Muta had a bit of a tough time putting Ware away but eventually got the job done with a Moonsault!

After the match the show goes to a commercial break.

When we return from commercials we immediately go to The Sandman who is sitting in a locker room. He has his Singapore Cane and he has a lit cigarette.

The Sandman: Justin Credible, we are going to meet in a Steel Cage Match. You better be ready because it's going to be a war.

The shot then goes to Billy Gunn who is standing backstage with his tag team partner – Road Dogg. Michael Cole is there to interview him.

Michael Cole: Billy Gunn, you have a big match here tonight on Sunday Night Heat against Baron Von Raschke. What are your thoughts going into this match?

Billy Gunn: Michael Cole, it is plain and simple. I am going to beat Baron Von Raschke and send him packing to where he came from. You think I am afraid of The Brain Claw? Well guess what, I am not. I am going to break his hand so he can't use it. I am going to hit him with a Fame Asser and get the victory because that is what I do best. Baron Von Raschke better be prepared for a butt whooping. See you in the ring!

Billy Gunn beat Baron Von Raschke with a Standing Leg Drop!

Match Notes – It was a fun match that had the fans into it the whole time. Raschke was on offense for some of the bout but Billy Gunn bounced back and won the match.

After the match Billy Gunn grabbed the microphone.

Billy Gunn: That was just the beginning. Tonight I win The Royal Rumble and if you're not down with that I've got two words for you...

Crowd: SUCK IT!

The show then goes to a commercial break. When it comes back we go to the ring for our next match.

Chris Candido beat Konnan with a Blonde Bomb.

Match Notes – This was a great match between these two. The fans were on their feet throughout the match.

We then go backstage where we see Larry Sweeney. He is with The Great Muta and Mark Henry. Mark Henry is standing by the door because he is Larry Sweeney and The Great Muta's bodyguard. Larry Sweeney sees the camera and then starts to talk.

Larry Sweeney: Hahaha, The Sweeney family is going to get a little bigger. Who is going join us? Well, time will tell. You won't have to wait too long. It will be revealed at The Royal Rumble. You see, we are going to run this promotion. We are taking over and there is nobody who can stop us. See you at The Rumble!

The show then goes off the air as we go to The Royal Rumble pay per view!

WWF Royal Rumble comes on the air with a shot of the entrance way. We see a massive pyro display. The shot then goes to ringside where we see our commentators, Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler sitting at the commentary table with headsets on. Jim Ross greets the viewers with a smile and then starts to talk.

Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to The Royal Rumble! Tonight we are live in Tampa, Florida and it is going to be a great pay per view. We are going to see six big matches – including the big one – The 30 Man Royal Rumble where the winner walks out the WWF World champion. We know who will enter first – The One Man Gang, and we know who will enter number thirty – Mr. Perfect! Who will be champ by the end of the night, we will find out.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: We are going to see all World Wrestling Federation belts on the line tonight. Will there be new champions crowned? I don't know but I want to find out. I have word that there is a limousine that just pulled up in the underground parking lot. I believe Michael Cole is back there. Can we get a camera back there?

The shot then goes to Michael Cole. He is wearing a WWF polo shirt and blue jeans. He is also holding a microphone in hand. In the background we see that there a white stretch limousine. A moment later we see the driver get out of the car and walk towards the back. He opens the door and out steps "Sweet -n- Sour" Larry Sweeney. He is wearing a purple sports jacket with white dress pants. Michael Cole walks over to him as The Great Muta and Mark Henry exit the car.

Michael Cole: Larry Sweeney, tonight one of your men are in The Royal Rumble match – that being "The World Strongest Man" Mark Henry. What are your thoughts on him getting a chance to become WWF World champion and bringing the championship to the Sweeney family?

Larry Sweeney: Michael Cole, Mark Henry has a great chance at winning the Rumble tonight. The thing is though is that Larry Sweeney has been making deals over the last month. If he doesn't win The Rumble – well you never know who is going to join The Sweeney family. So buckle up Michael Cole, tonight is going to be a great night for us. Now if you don't mind, the three of us are going to get ready for tonight.

The shot then goes back on Michael Cole.

Michael Cole: Well there you have it. Let's go to the ring for our first match of the evening. It's The Powers of Pain – The WWF World Tag Team champions with their manager Jim Cornette taking on Tony Garea and Larry Zbyszko!

The shot then goes to the arena for the first match of the show.

Tony Garea and Larry Zbyszko beat The Powers of Pain when Larry Zbyszko pinned The Warlord to become WWF World Tag Team champions.

Match Notes – This was a good bout despite being short. Larry Zbyszko was able to pin Warlord rather early in the match.

After the match Tony Garea and Larry Zbyszko celebrated their victory and put their championship belts around their waists as the shot then went to the commentary table.

Jim Ross: Wow, what a match that was. The Powers of Pain losing their tag team straps to Zbyszko and Garea.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: First match of the night and we already have new champions crowned. Well, I have word that Michael Cole is backstage with the Challenger to Jim Neidhart's European championship – The Mountie. Let's go to them.

When then see Michael Cole with The Mountie. The Mountie has his Shock Stick with him.

Michael Cole: Mountie, in just a few minutes you have the opportunity to become WWF European champion. You have to go through "The Anvil" Jim Neidhart first though and that won't be an easy task. What are your thoughts about this match?

The Mountie: My thoughts about the match? My only thoughts are is when I win the championship, which two women are going to come with me while I paint the town red. You see, there is no doubt that I am going to win the strap – it's just a matter of time. So Anvil, get ready because you're going down!

The shot then goes to the ring for our next match.

Jim Neidhart pinned The Mountie to retain the WWF European championship.

Match Notes – This was an excellent match with a lot of great action. The Anvil was able to retain the strap. He celebrated the victory with the fans as The Mountie was helped to the backstage area.

The shot then goes backstage where we see Chyna with her WWF Women's championship draped over her shoulder. She is with The New Age Outlaws – Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. She sees the camera and starts to talk.

Chyna: Mildred Burke, you are tough but I am tougher. You're stronger but I am way stronger and there is no way you are walking out of The Royal Rumble with my gold.

Road Dogg: That's right, she is going to retain and she's going to send you packing.

Billy Gunn: And if you're not down with that we've got two words for ya...

Crowd: SUCK IT!

The shot then goes to the ring for our next match of the pay per view.

Mildred Burke beat Chyna with an Alligator Clutch to become WWF Women's champion!

Match Notes – This was a good match. The two traded moves on offense before Mildred Burke got the win and the championship. After the match, Chyna attacked Mildred Burke with a steel chair and then dropped the title on her chest and then left the ringside area. Officials needed to help the new champion to the backstage area.

The shot then goes to Michael Cole who is standing by number one contender to the Intercontinental champion – Bad News Allen. Bad News Allen is adjusting his gloves as he prepares for his upcoming match.

Michael Cole: Bad News Allen, the time has come for you to face Adrian Adonis for the WWF Intercontinental championship. How are you feeling going into this big match?

Bad News Allen: Michael Cole, are you a damn fool? I am feeling like I am ready for a fight. I am feeling like I am ready to get a big purse. I am ready to win the championship belt and put it around my waist. You see Michael Cole, I want that belt and I want to shut up Adrian Adonis. Now if you don't mind I have a match to prepare for!

Bad News Allen walks off camera.

Michael Cole: Let's go to the ring for the WWF Intercontinental championship match!

Adrian Adonis defeated Bad News Allen with a Good Night Irene to retain the WWF Intercontinental championship!

Match Notes – Adrian Adonis had most of the offense in the match and quickly put away Bad News Allen.

The shot then goes to our commetators.

Jim Ross: Well, our next match is going to good. It's Justin Credible taking on The Sandman in a Steel Cage match.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: I've been waiting for this one since it was signed! They've set up the cage and we are ready for the big match! Let's go to the ring.

The Sandman beat Justin Credible in a Steel Cage Match.

Match Notes – This was a fantastic match that saw a lot of great action. Both wrestlers were bloody after the bout. The Sandman broke both his cane and Credible's cane over Credible's head.

Jim Ross: What a wild and bloody match that was!

Jerry "The King" Lawler: It was unbelievable. Now we have one more match and it's the one we've all been waiting for. It's a thirty man Royal Rumble where the winner becomes WWF World champion!
