VICTORY BY: Running Neck Breaker
TIME OF MATCH: 23 minutes 26 seconds
NOTES: "One hell of an opening match, several near falls. Give credit to Candido whoi kicked out of several Hero Sandwiches from his young opponent, Tammy would ultimately get involved being a major distraction during the match, as which Candido of course took advantage of and as Hero got back into the ring he got caught by a vicious running neck breaker slamming the back of his head to the mat, giving Candido the victory."

THE SANDMAN (LOW Expansion Pack 4) & 2 COLD SCORPIO (Promoter Prime 2019) defeated BOB ORTON JR. & DON MURACO (Legends Expansion Pack 6)
VICTORY BY: Three consecutive moonsaults by Scorpio on Bob Orton Jr.
TIME OF MATCH: 10 minutes 34 seconds
NOTES: "Wild match, especially when Sandman and Orton Jr. squared off which went throughout the building, in the end it was the athleticism of Scorpio getting the better of Orton Jr. for the victory."

EDDIE KINGSTON (Chikara Intro Box Set) defeated BAD NEWS ALLEN (Legends Prime 2023)
VICTORY BY: Backfist to the Future FINISHER
TIME OF MATCH: 9 minutes 37 seconds
NOTES: "This match or brawl I should started in the back during the last match! Both men wearing the crimson mask by the end of the contest thanks to the other, the match actually almost was over via a doctor stoppage after Allen gave Kingston a nasty throat strike, but Eddie just pushed the doctor out of the ring and continued fighting and eventually getting the win via his finisher."

ROCKY ROMERO (ROH: Best in the World) defeated MATT CROSS (AIW Set)
VICTORY BY: Running Larait
TIME OF MATCH: 12 minutes 1 second
NOTES: "Tremendous match, back and forth action which included some great chain wrestling between the two. Credit to Cross for being able to withstand and break two attempts of Romero's Diablo Armbar submission during the contest, but Rocky would show more of his vicious side with a running lariat that got him the victory BUT unseen by the official Cross actually had his right foot on the rope before the count of three. Matt's tag team partner Josh Prohibition came down to the ring to confront the official but to no avail. Right or wrong the decision stands as called, Rocky seemed a little aggravated that Prohibition came to the ring and the two had words before officials came out to settle the situation down."

Returns to make the announcement to the crowd that the winners of tonight's matches are now entered into a 10 MAN OVER THE TOP ROPE BATTLE ROYAL. that will take place on Night 3 of this event. Tomorow night we will fill out the field with five more matches, as the path to Tradition continues!

TIME OF MATCH: 15 minutes 16 seconds
NOTES "A technical masterpiece by both athletes, Noone really getting the upper hand on the other for a sustainable amount of time, however the third time was a charm for Wyatt as he applied his finisher for the third time and got the victory. Tyson had passed out and the official made the decision to stop the match, afterwards medical staff and Tyson's tag team partner BRENT BANKS came down with wet towels and bottled water. After a moment or two thanks to the bottled water to the back of his neck, Dux came to and slowly got back to his feet and slowly headed to the back to a standing ovation from the crowd."

C.W. ANDERSON (PWI Set 1) defeated DELIRIOUS (Chikara Intro Box LE)

VICTORY BY: Spinebuster

TIME OF MATCH: 8 minutes 28 seconds

NOTES: "Anderson was in no mood for whatever language was coming out of the masked man's mouth to start the match. Delirious would respond with a Cobra Stretch submission which C.W. would barely escape out of. It was a stiff right hand that took Delirious really out of the match that would eventually lead to the finish and an impressive win for Anderson."

SILAS YOUNG (ROH: Final Battle 8 pack set) defeated BRENT ALBRIGHT (LOW Series 6)
VICTORY: Backbreaker
TIME OF MATCH: 16 minutes 48 seconds
NOTES: "The most physical match over the last 2 shows by far, I mean stiff shot after stiff shot, Young had a busted nose and a busted mouth early into this slobber-knocker. Albright however seemed to have suffered a severe back injury after he landed awkwardly on the side of the ring apron back first thanks to a nasty power bomb by Silas. The match was stopped for a moment by the official as Brent was having trouble taking breaths, but Brent refused medical and continued...Young quickly got him in the ring and delivered a back breaker and the official counted three. Medical staff quickly came out to tend to Brent as he needed assistance backstage."

JIMMY JACOBS & RHINO (ROH: Intro Box Set defeated ROB VAN DAM (LOW Color) & SABU (LOW Series 10)
VICTORY BY: Gore FINISHER onto Rob Van Dam
TIME OF MATCH: 7 minutes 49 seconds
NOTES: "The shortest match of the last two nights was also it's most violent, as these two teams brawled in the back before the last match was even finished, the crowd was roaring with cheers as all four of these men where back in their home state of Michigan. Let's get one thing straight I know in the right up that a Gore by Rhino was the difference but in reality, it was a railroad spike to the face of RVD possibly to his left eye that was the difference as the official was checking on Sabu out of the ring. Blood poured out of the face of Rob as once again the medical staff came out and rushed the whole f'n show to the backstage area.

small pools of blood stained the canvas as Jimmy Jacobs stood in the ring and licked Van Dams blood of the railroad spike, as the crowd looked on in shock to end the show."

"Ladies & Gentlemen, a few big announcements, first a medical update on some of our talents after a very physical & unpredictable night of action during our last Tradition event. First, Brent Albright sustained a deep bruise in his lower back during his match against Silas Young. Brent and the doctors have assured me that he (Albright) is cleared for Tradition's next events if needed. Chris Hero has sustained a mild concussion after slamming the back of his head on the matt at the end of his match against Chris Candido. Hero is continuing to get evaluated by our medical staff. Tyson Dux was also taken to the hospital after his match against Jeremy Wyatt and has past all tests, so he is fully cleared to return to the ring.

Finally, Rob Van Dam has suffered a fracture in his orbital bone, and will miss a considerable amount of time, Tradition wishes Rob the best in his recovery process and when he is 100% healthy, we will look forward to seeing him back in a wrestling ring. Now, I know Jimmy Jacobs posted a message to everyone about the incident with RVD and his participation in the upcoming Battle Royal.

I have a message to you Jimmy Jacobs, the officials of Tradition, including myself do not condone in any way your actions involving Rob Ban Dam during that tag team match on June 23rd, 2009. Therefore, you will NOT be competing in the BATTLE ROYAL, furthermore you will be delt a 10,000 dollar fine for your actions.

Tradition officials promised a 10-man Battle Royal and they plan to deliver, as discussions are going on as I speak to you how and who will replace Mr. Jacobs in the Battle Royal. Stay tuned for updates, as we all continue our path to TTRADITION."

The show begins with a wild brawl outside of the bar and would end of streets of East Lansing, between the suspended Jimmy Jacobs who apparently bought a ticket to the show and Sabu! Jacobs attacked the ECW legend and fellow Michigan native when he pulled up for the show smashing his windshield with a tire iron. The two would go at each other as officials were unable to separate the two until the local authorities were called in. Both men were arrested and taken away.

SECOND CHANCE GAUNTLET

The participants are the talents that came up short in thier matches over the first two shows of Tradition, the winner of the gauntlet will get the final spot in the over-the-top rope Battle Royal main event tonight. Sabu even though was scheduled to be in this match, because of what happened earlier will not be competing.

GUANTLET RESULTS:

BRENT ALBRIGHT pinned by TYSON DUX via a chair shot to the head unseen by the official by Tyson's tag team partner Brent Banks!

MATT CROSS pinned by TYSON DUX via a fisherman's buster. The longtime partner Josh Prohibition came to ringside to stop Brent Banks from getting involved again BUT this also brought out Rocky Romero to confront Prohibition, this distracted Cross which led to the finish.

TYSON DUX pinned by BAD NEWS ALLEN via the GHETTO BLASTER, which was set up by a wicked right hand that not only busted the nose of Tyson but knocked him out on his feet.

BOB ORTON JR. pinned by BAD NEWS ALLEN, which was a hell of a fight that went to the outside for quite a bit of time, everyone thought the match was over when Orton cracked Allen with his cast but despite that which led to him wearing the crimson mask, Bad News as not only able to fight back but get the win via a lariat.

DELIRIOUS pinned by BAD NEWS ALLEN via the GHETTO BLASTER after the words of wisdom by the masked man and Allen escaping a Figure Four Leg Lock submission, despite blood still pouring out of his forehead, Bad News continues on!

DON MURACO pinned by BAD NEWS ALLEN, it should be noted the official and ringside doctor were very close to stopping the match, do to the blood loss of Brown but Bad News just pushed them aside and went to war with Muraco but it was a a chop to the throat out of nowhere that gave the final spot to the Battle Royal to Bad News.
