Welcome to the Adirondack Mountain Wrestling Vanguard. I'm you host Larry J. Newman. We're here at the Remco Hall in Powertown NY. This evening is day 1 of a 2 day event called Ram Jam, where we celebrate the life & career of Randy "The Ram" Robinson. All the matches this evening and tomorrow evening are part of the Randy Robinson Memorial Tournament to crown the 1st ever Ultimate Edition Heavyweight Champion. Let's go to the ring and start the action, but first lets all stand for a 10 bell salute in memory of Randy "The Ram" Robinson.

We'd like to introduce our special guest ring announcer for tonights event, The Ayatollah! (big pop)
Match #1 Frank Dalton d. Nacho Barrera *Bill Apter notes: Dalton immediately starts the match with big moves. body slam, smash with boot, piledriver, sleeper, Barrera is down. The maych goes outside the ring and Nacho takes over after a big brawl where both men were nearly disqualified. The action goes back in the ring. They exchange offense back and forth. Barrera hits Dalton with a big knee to the face and goes for the pin. 1 count but Dalton kicks out. Barrera goes for a back body drop but Dalton blocks it and hits a piledriver. Dalton climbs the ropes, Barrera recovers and throws Dalton into the ring. The action goes back and forth but Dalton gains the upperhand. Big piledriver again. Dalton goes for the pin but Barrera kicks out quickly. The action again goes outside the ring. Dalton tries to nail Barrera with a chair but the referee stops him. Dalton pushes the referee. The referee warns Dalton. Tha match goes back in the ring. More offense from Dalton. Dalton sets up Barrera for the ATOMIC DROP and nails it. Dalton goes for the pin, 1,2,3! Dalton wins the match. (6:22)
Match #2 "Wild" Bill White d. Tom "Rocky" Stone *Bill Apter notes: White goes on offense to start the match. Stone & White exchange moves backand forth with none taking a clear advantage. The action goes outside the ring. Stone smashes White's head to the announcers table in front of Newman and the Ayatollah. The match is now back in the ring with Stone still on offense but White counters and hits Stone with a running power slam and goes for the pin but Stone kicks out. The action goes back and forth from inside the ring to outside but White in in total control. White hits another running power slam but Stone kicks out again. White is still in control and Stone is fading. RUNNING POWER SLAM by White and White goes for the pin. 1,2,3! Ring the bell! (6:25)
Match #3 Ron Hutchison d. Jake Milliman *Bill Apter notes: Hutchison starts on offense. He repeatedly throws Milliman out of the ring. Hutchison is just toying with Milliman early in the match. It's all Hutchison in this match with Milliman getting very little offense. Hutchison goes for the Shediac Lobster Trap but Milliman grabs the ropes to break the move. Hutchinson is in full control and continues to try and trap Milliman in the Shediac Lobster Trap, but Milliman is resilient and continues to fight it off. Hutchison hits the O'Connor Roll. 1, Milliman kicks out at 2. Hutchison continues to wear Milliman down. Hutchison is finally able to lock in the SHEDIAC LOBSTER TRAP and Milliman submits. Your winner Ron Hutchison. (9:27)
Match #4 Larry Sharpe d. Kenny Jay *Bill Apter notes: Back & forth early in the match. Sharpe takes over and starts dominating. Sharpe hits a Suplex Assortment and covers Jay for the win in a quick match. (4:28)

Back from Intermission of Day 1 of AMWV's RAM JAM Event. We contimue with Round 1 of the Tournament to crown the AMWV Ultimate Edition Heavyweight Champion.
Match #5 Mike Jackson d. Johnny Rodz *Bill Apter notes: Rodz starts on offense and quickly hits a shoulder breaker and goes for the pin but Jackson kicks out. Rodz continues his onslaught and hits another shoulder breaker and goes for the pin but only gets a count of 1. Jackson gets in some offense but Rodz qucikly regains the upperhand and hits another shoulder breaker. Rodz goes for the pin but only gets a 1 count. Jackson and Rodz had an amusing rope-a-dope that got a nice reaction from the crowd. They exchange offense for severals minutes. Rodz goes for a sunset flip but Jackson blocks it and goes for a pinning combination but Rodz kicks out at 1. Jackons follows it that up with a float over cradle for the pin but Rodz kicks out. Rodz gains control again. He hits a piledriver and goes for the pin gbut only gets a 1 count. Jackson is now on offense. He hits a big back elbow smash. A vertical suplex by Jackson. Rodz is hurt. Jackson hits the FLOAT-OVER CRADLE. Referee goes down for the pin count, 1,2,3! Jackson wins a very competitive match. (9:55)
Match #6 Blue Meanie d. George South *Bill Apter notes: A lot of back and forth early in the match. Meanie gains the upper-hand and hits the People's Leg Drop and goes for the pin but South kicks out at 1. More back and forth until Meanie hits a neckbreaker and goes for another pin but South kicks out. Meaniesault! but South kicks out. Another Meaniesault but Meanie misses! South goes on offense but Meanie counters and takes control again. He goes for another Meaniesault but misses again! South is now in total control but can't put Meanie away. Meanie recovers and takes over on offense again. He goes to the turnbuckle and climbs to the top. Will he go for another Meaniesault? Yes he does but he misses again! South and Meanie go back and forth for several minutes. Meanie takes over and goes for the Meaniesault again and hits it this time. 1,2, South kicks out! Blue Meanie climbs the ropes again. MEANIESAULT!!! 1,2,3! Blue Meanie wins a tough match. (14:22)
Match #7 Mike "Soul Train" Jones d. Frogman LeBlanc *Bill Apter notes: Jones blocks a body slam and hits a clothesline and goes for a early win but LeBlanc kicks out. Back Suplex by Jones and another cover for the pin but LeBlanc kikcs out at 1. Jones is dominating this match. He hits a Russian Leg Sweep for the pin but LeBlanc again kicks out. LeBlanc gets in some offense but Jones quickly counters. Jones hits an Atomic Drop and goes for the pin. 1,2,3! Jones wins in impressive form. (2:32)
Match #8 "Special Delivery" Jones d. Keith Steinborn *Bill Apter notes: Back & forth they went with no one getting a clear upperhand until Jones hits a big Headbutt and goes for the pin but Steinborn kicks out. Steinborn recovers and hits Jones with a clothesline off the top rope, he goes for the pin but Jones kicks out. They continue trading moves for several minutes. Jones hits a gun wrench suplex and goes for the pin but Steinbord quickly kicks out. Jones hits another big Head Butt and goes for the win, 1,2 but Steinborn barely kicks out before the 3 count. Steinborn is hurt. Jones goes to the top rope, Steinborn stumbles to his feet, Jones hits a big Cross Body Block and rolls Steinborn up, 1,2,3! Jones wins the match. (5:37)
That concludes day 1 of RAM JAM. Be sure to join us for day 2 as we conclude the Ultimate Edition Heavyweight Championship Tournament and we'll also have some tag team wrestling.

Before the announcement of tonight's competitors for the 1st match, we get an unexpected entrance of Mr. Wonderful Rock Riddle, who makes his way to the ring announcer table. Newman:"What are you doing here Mr. Riddle?" Riddle: "First of all, I'm here to add some style to the announcing, so you don't bore everyone to death. And second, I'm here to scout the talent at AMWV to see who will be the first person I sign a contract to manage. I've got my eyes on a few people already who can use my expertise and guidance to take them to the next level."
Match #1 Frank Dalton d. Mike Jackson Apter notes: Jackson goes for an early pin after a vertical suplex but Dalton kicks out quickly. Jackson hits a Float-Over Cradle for the pin but Dalton again kicks out quickly. Jackson again hits another Float-Over Cradle but Dalton again kicks out quickly. A third Float-Over Cradle by Jackson for the pin. 1,2 but Dalton kicks out before the three count. Dalton is finally able to get some offense in. He wears Jackson down and hits and Atomic Drop for the pin but Jackson kicks out. They exchange moves back and forth and Dalton locks in an abdominal stretch. Jackson is close to submitting but is able to finally break the hold. Dalton goes to the second rope and hits a cross body block for a pin but Jackson kicks out. Dalton hits a piledriver followed by an abdominal stretch in the middle of the ring. Jackson can not break the hold and finally submits. (7:29)
Match #2 Blue Meanie d. Wild Bill White Apter notes: Doctor Bomb early by Meanie but he doesn't get the pin. Back and forth they go. White takes over and hits a big Running Power Slam and goes for the pin. 1,2 Kick Out! Knee lift by White and a pin. 1,2 Kick out!! White in dominating. White hits another Power Slam. White attempts a pin but Meanie quickly kicks out. The action goes outside the ring and Meanie is briefly able to takeover before White gains the upperhand again. White goes for a sunset flip but Meanie blocks it and hits a piledriver. Both men tumble to the outside of the ring and the referee nearly disqualifies them as they are brawling. The action comes back to the ring. Meanie sends White over the top rope and White barely makes it back before the 10 count. Meanie hits a Meaniesault and goes for the pin but White kicks out. Meanie goes for another Meaniesault and hits it. 1,2,3!!! Meanie gets the win. (7:04)
Match #3 Mike "Soul Train" Jones d. Ron Hutchison Apter notes: Both men exchange moves back and forth for several minutes with no one taking a clear advantage. Jones finally takes a clear advantage and starts hitting some high impact offensive moves. Jones hits a Russina Leg Sweep and goes for a pin but Hutchison kicks out quickly. More offense from Jones and another Russian Leg Sweep to pin but Hutchison again kicks outs quick. Hutchison is able to takeover and throws Jones outside the ring. A wild brawl erupts and Jones takesover and throws Hutchison back in the ring. Neither man is relenting as they continue to exchange moves. The closing of the match sees Hutchison go for a dropkick but miss it and Jones charges him with a big clothesline and covers Hutchison for the pin and win. (8:03)
Match #4 Special Delivery Jones d. Larry Sharpe Apter notes: Sharpe controls the match early but Jones seems to have a counter for his moves. Jones hits some big punches and goes for an early cover but Sharpe is able to kick out. Jones hits a gut wrench suplex outside the ring and Sharpe barely beats the 10 count to make it back in the ring. Head Butt by Jones and a pin but Sharpe kicks out. Each man counters a turnbuckle move by the other. Jones gets the final counter and follows with a Head Butt. Jones goes for the pin.1 count only. More offense and another Head Butt for the pin. 1,2,3! Jones wins. (4:07)
Match #5 (Non-tournament Match) Bob Cook d. Frogman LeBlanc Apter notes: Cook is in control early. Cook hits a big right hand for a pin but only gets a one count. LeBlanc counters and nails Cook with a shoulder bloack and takes over. It's short lived as Cook goes back on offense. More back and forth until Cooks takes over. Cook hits LeBlanc with a clothesline that sends LeBlanc over the ropes. LeBlanc takes a ugly fall and seems to have hurt himself. He is unable to make it back to the ring before the 10 count. Cooks wins by count out. (4:23)

Thank you gnw2022. Funny enough your APAPW promotion was a inspiration. Back from Intermission of Day 1 of AMWV's RAM JAM Event. Blue Meanie *Bill Apter notes: Meanie takes over early and throws Daltom into the turnabuckle but Dalton bounces off and hits a big clothesline. Dalton follows that with a atomic drop and goes for the win but Meanie kicks out. Dalton is in control. The action goes outside the ring and when it returns to the ring Dalton nails another atomic drop but Meanie kicks out again. The action continues with Dalton providing the majority of the offense. Dalton hit another atomic drop but Meanie is able to kick out again. Dalton locks in an abdominal stretch, unable to break out of the move, Blue Meanie finally submits. Dalton moves on to the finals of the tournament. (5:33) Match #7 Mike 'Soul Train' Jones d. S.D. Jones *Bill Apter notes: SD extends his hand to Soul Train, who initially does not return the gesture but eventually does. Early in the match, the action goes outside the ring. Tensions rise but eventually both men cool down and return to the ring. Soul Train locks in the cobra clutch but SD gets to the ropes to break the hold. Soul Train hits an atomic drop and goes for the pin but SD kicks out. Soul Train hits a back suplex and goes for another pin but Sd is able to kick out again. Russian leg sweep by Soul Train and a pin but SD again kicks out. Soul Train shows some frustration and throws SD out the ring. Sd barely beats the 10 count. SD is finally able to get some offense and the action goes back and forth before Soul Train gains control again locks in the cobra clutch. SD is hurt but is able to get to the ropes to break the hold. Soul Train shoves SD's head which angers SD. SD seems to come alive and hits the Philly Shuffle and a big punch and goes for the pin but Soul Train kicks out. SD follows that up with a head butt and another pin, but Soul Train gets his foot on the rope. SD throws Soul Train into the turnbuckle. SD charges but Soul Train gets his knees up in time and Sd goes down. Soul Train hits the Russian leg Sweep and goes for the cover. 1,2,3! Soul Train wins and moves on to the finals. Soul Train extends a handshake to SD. SD is reluctant to return ths gesture but finally does and raises Soul Train's hand. (12:03) Match #8 George South & Keith Steinborn d. Bill & Randy Mulkey by CO *Bill Apter notes: Steinborn throws Bill Mulkey over the top rope. Mulkey takes a ugly fall. Randy comes over to try and help but Bill is unable to beat the 10 count. South & Steinborn win a ackluster tag match. (12:01) Match #9 Ultimate Edition Heavyweight Championship Tournament Final Match Mike 'Soul Train' Jones d. Frank Dalton by DQ *Bill Apter notes: Jones attempts to end the match early hitting a atomic drop and going for the pin but Dalton is able to kick out. The action continues with both men gaing the upperhand at times until Jones hits a big clothesline and goes for the win. Dalton kicks out quickly. Jones follows that up with a Russian leg sweep and pin but Dalton is able to kick out. The action continues with Jones being in full control. Jones hits another Russian leg sweep and goes for the pin but Dalton gets his foot on the ropes to break the pin. Dalton is able to take over as Jones tires. Dalton locks in a slepper that almost puts away Jones. dalton then locks in an abdominal stretch that nearly ends the match. Dalton hits a huge atomic drop and goes for the pin. 1,2 but that's it, Jones kicks out. A frustrated Dalton throws Jones out the ring and the match takes an ugly turn when most of the action takes place outside the ring. Dalton loses control and starts nailing Jones with illegal objects outside the ring. The referee steps out to try and stop the melee but is pushed aside by Dalton, which leads to the referee calling for the bell. Jones is your winner by disqualification but what does this mean for the championship?

Always did like Soul Train....wait maybe that was the 70's R&B show.....good stuff my friend!!!
