As the TV right war of 24 continues to heat up, NXT is set to depart USA Network for the ancestral home of Smackdown, The CW network. Presumably, as CW has their own streaming app, that there will now be a delay in the weekly episodes coming to Peacock. The CW is starting to really dive into sports broadcasting, with college sports from the ACC and the Saudi golf tour, and now NXT. Reportedly they were going to start carrying NWA Powerrrrrrr too, but it seems Corigan's booking of James Mitchell snorting coke on PPV killed that deal. Hmm, so CW is a pass on a program that shows someone snorting coke on a PPV but is in on a golf promotion ran by people with likely ties to an assassination of a journalist. Mkay then.
