Mind blown by CM Punk’s appearance at the conclusion of Survivor Series. Here’s hoping this works for all parties involved, especially us fans.

Curious to see. How it plays out, especially with Rollins who had said in interviews about punk being a cancer in wrestling and to stay away. Seen videos of him shouting last night and looking annoyed but I'd like to think it's going to be punk vs rollins first feud.
I do love the toxic fans in socials who ran down punk being in aew saying he was never a draw who are now praising his wwe return and that it will kill aew.
As much as I love Punk I'll take Ospreay over punk any day. Looking forward to some of the big feuds punk can have now

I think the Rollins thing is a work, I think punk puts him over at the rumble.

I genuinely do not understand the hold he still has over the wrestling business. He was so insistently anti-WWE that this return is somewhat laughable given all he has said about them and all that has gone on with them in the last decade. And sadly for everyone else on the roster, they now have to all answer questions about Punk at press conferences and in interviews, and every action is analysed (the Rollins and McIntyre actions last night being an example).
It will be interesting to see, if still there by that time, whether he goes on a Saudi trip as well.

I'm sure you can find a random idiot on social media that will say anything. The take I've seen, prior to tonight, is that Punk was the only legit draw in AEW and him leaving, regardless of what he does afterward, would be a big blow to AEW.

I don't normally weigh in on the internet about how I feel about wresting and what goes on, especially these days, but on this I'll add my two cents, for what it's worth. I was honestly hoping that the whole getting fired thing was an attempt to "modernize" kayfabe with TK "scared for his life" and all that and that the man behind the devil mask was CM Punk and one of the goons being Perry (Along with FTR) and thought when one of the acclaimed got thrown through the window that it could be a real possibility. Now that whole devil mask angle is going to be a let down IMO no matter who it is (Except if it's TK himself and that's a whole other discussion). As for Punk going to WWE, that is disappointing to me only because of the promo he did about pro wrestling vs entertainment (I personally prefer wrestling vs "entertainers" but enjoy WWE for what it is). That being said, yes...Never Say Never and the matches Punk could have should be entertaining...

I was the same, was secretly hoping it was a work and he was behind the devil mask, especially after being fully named in a promo last night on collision and not the usual mention without naming him. I do hope Punk and Rollins can work out their issues because it would be a great match. Tho I wonder is Punk going to want to be the name who ends Romans reign.

When Punk quit the WWE, he mentioned never hitting his goal to main event Wrestlemania so I'm thinking he wins the Rumble this year. IF he stays healthy.

If they had signed him, I could really see WWE jobbing out Will Ospreay to Logan Paul as they have already done with Ricochet.
