Is anyone else here watching MLW's One Shot this Thursday night on FITE+? I could see Matt Cardona possibly winning the MLW World Heavyweight Championship at this show in New York.  |

Any reason why Cardona should win the title? Just curious as to why you'd speculate? I'm not neccessarily saying he should, but instead I think he could based on these factors: MLW is pushing the WTF faction which includes Matt Cardona this show is taking place in Cardona's home of New York the Bomaye Fight Club just seems to be a little less over than it was this past Summer when Alex Kane would yell "Bomaye is for..." and the crowd in response would loudly sout back "the people!" interestingly, if Kane drops the title on Thursday then he would have held it for exactly 1 day less than the 2019 reign of "Filthy" Tom Lawlor so it would not be an overly short reign by MLW standards (although definitley much shorter than the past two champions Alexander Hammerstone and Jacob Fatu with much of Fatu's reign occuring during the pandemic.) |

I was just curious! I haven't paid much attention to MLW lately, but knew Matt Cardona just arrived! Seemed odd to put title on him unless he plans to stick around! I wasn't sure that's the case with him? Is Alex Kane's contract coming up? Could be the reason to drop it too.

I will have to watch the replay of this MLW show later tonight as I will not be home in time to see it live(really busy right now trying to close out the semester next week.).
Speaking of MLW, this week I got a verbal yes about the game from someone who was very recently in MLW. I just need to get the form signed.
