I was just at the Sphere the day after Thanksgiving a couoke of weeks ago. That place is incredible. It is also possible that next year's Double or Nothing will take place at the Sphere instead of at T-Mobile Area as Tony Khan has said he is looking into that possibility. NHL bringing 2024 draft to Las Vegas and The Sphere- The last centralized NHL Draft for the foreseeable future is going out with the glitz and bright lights of Vegas.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said Tuesday the league is moving forward with holding the 2024 draft at The Sphere in Las Vegas, the new venue that opened in September and bills itself as the largest spherical structure in the world.
Bettman said contracts still need to be finalized, but the league is excited about the possibilities for the draft.
“I think it’ll be a pretty well viewed event, both in terms of the draft itself and the viral use of The Sphere inside and outside using the globe. So we think it’ll be fun. We think it’ll be dramatic and compelling,” Bettman said after the league’s Board of Governors wrapped up two days of meetings in the market of the NHL’s most recent franchise addition.
The draft is expected to be the first sporting event to be held at The Sphere and a showcase opportunity for the league before the draft decentralizes starting in 2025.
“I think both for The Sphere and for us this will be a good event to show yet another capability of this magnificent theater,” Bettman said.

That's pretty cool that it's coming to your hometown. I went to the First Round of the 2019 Draft here in Vancouver when Jack Hughes was chosen #1 and it was a lot of fun.
Do you have any plans to attend in 2024?

Do you know anybody with season tickets for the Golden Knights? If so, I would suggest getting in contact with them as they may be able to get you a ticket at a more affordable price. If the Knights are like the Canucks they will probably give season ticket members a pre-sale opportunity before the Draft tickets go on sale to the general public. Draft tickets up here in Vancouver were nearly sold out when they went on sale to the public and people were re-selling theirs online for several hundred dollars. Since I had quarter-season tickets I was able to get a seat during the pre-sale for $25. I know you said that you're still not sure if you're going to attend but I still wanted to mention it.

I will probably pass on the draft. Hockey is a great game, but I mostly just watch VGK games and I am still trying to figure out if I am going to be able to make it to Philadelphia for Wrestlemania next year.
