In no particular order: National Lampoons Christmas Vacation Trading Places 8-bit Christmas Christmas Story First Blood Die Hard Elf Charlie Brown Christmas Prep and Landing How the Grinch stole Christmas I had not heard of 8-bit until just this year. Have not got around to watching it yet. Have you seen the second Prep and Landing yet? I just love how they work famous Christmas names and terms into the show plus hidden Easter eggs. There is a reference to a movie on your list in the second Prep and Landing that makes me laugh every time I see it.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the 60s TV version but I'll watch the movies too) Charlie Brown Christmas (gotta watch the Charlie Brown special for every holiday) Rudolph the Rednosed reindeer (love Hermie the elf & Yukon Cornelius) Santa Claus is coming to town Frosty the snowman (happy birthday!) National Lampoons Christmas vacation Nightmare Before Christmas (gets watched every Halloween & Christmas Day) Elf A Christmas Story Ernest Saves Christmas

Die Hard is Christmas adjacent. That is good enough for me. I mean that is what It's A Wonderful Life is.
No need for a full 10. It is up to whatever people want to do. Just one movie mentioned is enough.
I see I also forgot Miracle on 34th Street. I too prefer the original but do not have the hate for the remake like some do. To me, the remake is like watching It's A Wonderful Life in color. Not my first choice, or second, third or fourth etc. but I will watch it now and then as something just a bit different.

Better off Dead is both the best and my favorite Christmas movie ever.
