Trade moves after the bell. Allen escapes to the floor. Back in the ring, Savage controls. Neckbreaker clothesline. Allen bails again. Savage is out in pursuit . . . Allen smashes Savage with one of Dr. Mike Lano’s cameras!!! Savage is busted open! BOOOO! GHETTO BLASTER. 1, 2, shoulder up (R9/P5). Allen in control. Savage blocks a charge with a knee in the corner. Allen is rebounded into a back elbow. Neckbreaker clothesline. 1, 2, ½ (R5/P3). Allen dumped outside. Back in the ring. Savage with a blow off the top. Savage with a flying axe-handle to the floor. Vaulting neck snap. Allen rolls outside. Savage grabs the ring bell . . . CLUNK! Allen goes down. Dollar calls for the disqualification. Macho Man is out in the first round and bared from next year as well. Ringside is livid!

Disqualification central. Shame there.
Neither of the next two excite me so my main interest is to see if RVD can avoid being disqualified.

Hate to see Macho Man eliminated but like Bad News as he has a fun card. Holds up nicely against main event talent.

Belly to belly throw for a one count (R8/P2). CHOKE SLEEPER. Van Dam escapes (R8/P3). Bow and arrow. CHOKE SLEEPER. Van Dam escapes again (R7/P3). ARMBAR. Van Dam escapes again (R9/P4). ARMBAR again. Bill Alfonso distracts! Van Dam counters a shoulder slam. Standing moonsault, split legged moonsault. Another standing moonsault. Body scissors cradle. FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH. 1, 2, kick out (R6/P3). Severn gets tossed outside. Trips over Dr. Mike Lano. Rolling Thunder. Split-legged moonsault. Rebounded into back elbow. Rolling fireman’s carry . . . countered. Belly to belly throw. Van Dam bails. Severn comes outside. Van Dam bounces Severn’s head off the ringside table. FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH. 1, 2, 3 (R3/P6). Alfonso earns his paycheck and Van Dam moves on.

Rude controls with his height and strength advantage. Top rope sledge hammer from Rude knocks Vachon to the mat. Sleeper slows it down and swinging neckbreaker lands. Rude works the neck. Back to a sleeper. Hart is gloating. HEAT! Whip and kick in the corner. Another sleeper. Mad Dog bails . . . Rude is out. Vachon smashes Rude into the ringside table. Woehrle will not stand for it and makes the disqualification call.
