Oh no Piper out!!! While I think Brisco will win , will pull a bit for The Great Malenko as his card is formidable enough for an upset.

Jack Brisco (11) v. The Great Malenko (54)
Referee: Morgan Dollar
The referee has strict instructions for both competitors before the bell. Brisco gets the initial control including an impressive looking back body drop. Malenko is frustrated and takes a breather. Brisco follows but Malenko runs him into the ringside table. Back in the ring, Malenko’s attack is counteracted by Brisco’s speed. Brisco with suplex assortment and a gut wrench backbreaker. Malenko bails again. HEAT! A fired up Brisco follows. Brisco goes into the ring post! Brisco is busted open and dazed. RUSSIAN SICKLE. 1, 2, kick out (R9/P4). Brisco tossed to the floor. And again. Crawls back in. Malenko with a piledriver. Malenko stomp…. HEAT! RUSSIAN SICKLE. 1, 2, 3 (R5/P5).

Killer Kowalski (22) v. Ted Dibiase w/Virgil (43)
Referee: Morgan Dollar
DiBiase has a fan bounce a basket ball ten times for some cold hard cash but Virgil kicks the ball away at eight… HEAT! Kowalski with an overhead body slam and tosses DiBiase to the floor. DiBiase regains the ring. KOWALSKI CLAW. DiBiase makes the ropes (R7/P5). Kowalski tosses the Million Dollar Man back to the floor where DiBiase stumbles over a crouched down Dr. Mike Lano. Back in the ring, KOWALSKI CLAW. Virgil cannot cause a distraction. Rope break (R8/P6). KOWALSKI CLAW. Virgil distracts Dollar. Bombs away lands. Kowalski keeps coming with knee drops, dropkicks and stomps. Body drop on leg. Hooks the leg for the three count (R5/P7).
The first round is winding down with the next chapter in a historic feud . . .
