DOWN AND OUT ELIMINATION MATCH

This match is traditionally an War Games Eight Man Elimination Match (Survivor Match), but it can be contested under a singles, tag, trios or even a Battle Zone Match.
Rules:
You will need the Universal Battle Royals rules. Use the Eight Man Elimination Match rules. A timer clock. Optional: You may need the Battle Zone Rules, if you choose to use that match.
Once teams have been selected, both teams roll (2 dice) for initiative. Winner starts the match as the “Offensive team”. Loser is called the “Defensive team”. Each team selects one member to start the match. This match goes by rounds, following an elimination, with each team switching to offensive control, back and forth.
Match starts with a 5 minute time limit.
The objective is to eliminate the Defensive team wrestler by either pin fall, submission or tossing them out of the ring! The Defensive team wrestler can not tag out and must stay in the match for the 5 minute time limit. The Offensive team wrestler can tag out, use double teaming, tag moves and tag finishers.
The Offensive team tries to eliminate the Defensive team wrestler in the 5 minute time provided by either pin fall, submission or tossing them out of the ring, over the top rope (use the Universal Battle Royal rules). IF the Offensive team is successful, that ends the round. Then the Defensive team gets to be the Offensive team, and the Offensive team goes on Defense, starting the second round.
IF the Offensive team is unsuccessful in eliminating the Defensive team wrestler, the Offensive team wrestler is eliminated from the match, ending the round.
The start of the second round continues in the usual manner, with the new Offensive team wrestler starting out on Level 3 Offense. The only real difference is the time limit change! Round two starts with four (4) minutes instead of five (5)! Elimination rules are still the same, with a minute shorter time!
The rounds continue in the same manner, with each round deducting a minute after each elimination, down to just one (1) minute to eliminate your opponent. Once a team has exhausted the other teams members, the match is over!
A true test of survival, and working against the clock to eliminate your opponent(s)! It promotes team work and double teaming as much as possible! The more experienced teams are favored in this style of match, so pick them accordingly! Have fun with this new take on an old traditional favorite!
