I know it isn't the case but I kinda feel like this card was made just for me. Pumped for the huge art improvement (though the previous card definitely looked like him, just not from the best period of his career) and some hopefully slightly improved stats. I was just talking on grants board yesterday about getting a new DDP card, lol. But happy we got him with his “proper look”. It would be like getting a Jerry Lawler card with out his goatee |

Not terribly enthused about this one, but it seemed an inevitability, so here it is.
Really nice artwork, so there's that.

I'm not sure DDP would fit into my 80s-based fed. I know he was around in the 80s just not as a wrestler. Fantastic artwork though.

When I first saw DDP new card artwork, I wont lie I did think "Not another card" . Usually facts in 2014 (?) we met DDP at Manchester UK Comedy store got a photo, t-shirt (DDP Hands) and signed B/W filsinger card. He currently is feuding with the Sheik. I have created my own DDP talk show, which I use from time to time. What I normally do if a wrestler with 2 or more cards. If they move feds or turn face/heel I usually change to another card released by them (if there is a difference in stats).

While I was perfectly fine with DDP's current colour card (he is in my fed now) this is a pleasant surprise (the artwork alone is stellar) so I will have to work out a way to bring this one into the mix at some point.

While this set may end up being the weakest TNT set that's just a testament how good these sets tend to be. I have full faith I'll still really enjoy the set once I see the full roster.
