ALLIANCE OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS WELLS FARGO CENTER PHILADELPHIA, PA 01-11-24
(Promoter Marco Epstein welcomes everyone to the inaugural event presented by the the Alliance of Professional Wrestlers. He thanks the fans for supporting the new venture and hopes he can offer some great wrestling action to the fans of great pro wrestling action. He mentions that there’s a wide variety on the card including heavyweights, junior heavyweights, tag teams, even a ladies match and it will all be topped off with tonight’s main event featuring the world renowned Lou Thesz taking on Big Van Vader.)
Barry Windham vs. Gorilla Monsoon Windham proved to be much quicker than his opponent and it kept Monsoon off balance. Windham also showed some power as he tossed Monsoon around the ring with ease. Monsoon hung in, but Windham proved to be too much and he put Monsoon away with a LARIAT.
Midnight Express (‘Beautiful’ Bobby Eaton & ‘Sweet’ Stan Lane) W/ Jim Cornette vs. Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito This was a classic! Fuji & Saito gained several early near falls, but the Midnights finally settled in and made it a fight. Several high-impact moves by Eaton and Lane moved the needle in their direction, but Fuji and Saito battled back. The action continued back and forth before the Midnights finally gained the upper hand and put their opponents away when Eaton pinned Saito after delivering Divorce Court.
Brian Christopher vs. Johnny Saint Saint gained an early advantage, but Christopher countered a sunset flip into a near fall. Christopher continued his assault until Saint countered with the JOHNNY SAINT SPECIAL, but Christopher escaped. The action continued at a frenetic pace, eventually spilling outside the ring. Saint dazed Christopher with a double knee lift and Christopher barely beat the count back into the ring. Once he did, Saint locked Christopher in the THREE IN ONE and forced Christopher to submit.
Joanie Lauer vs. Trish Stratus Lauer no-sold several of Stratus’ moves early, but the Canadian kept coming and ultimately gained the advantage. Stratus kept pounding away and eventually wore Lauer down, putting her away with Air Canada.
Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) w/ ‘Wild’ Red Berry vs. Rock N Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) The Roos isolated Morton early and didn’t let Gibson make the save. Costello pinned Morton after the BOOMERANG.
INTERMISSION
Danny Hodge vs. Brad Armstrong This was a quick tempo, back and forth contest that the crowd was into. Neither competitor could gain a solid upper hand before the action spilled out of the ring. Tempers flared outside the squared circle and both men brawled uncontrollably, ignoring the referee’s commands. The ref was ultimately left with no choice but to disqualify both men.
Harley Race vs. ‘Nature Boy’ Buddy Rogers The action started out back and forth with both men gaining an early near fall. Rogers eventually gained the advantage, but couldn’t put Race away. Race rolled out of the ring to halt Rogers immediate assault and it worked to his advantage as he was able to gain the upper hand back in the ring. Race executed a couple of high-impact moves before beating Rogers with a VERTICAL SUPLEX.
Lou Thesz vs. Big Van Vader The fans were into this match from the opening bell. Vader came right at Thesz, but Thesz countered. Vader kept coming, but Thesz defended the assault. The match had a surprising tempo to it as Thesz used a hit and move strategy against Vader, but Vader was able to keep pace. Vader began to fatigue, though, and Thesz gained a near fall with a THESZ PRESS. Thesz followed up with a second THESZ PRESS and pinned a near exhausted Vader.

ALLIANCE OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS CHI HEALTH CENTER OMAHA, NE 01-14-24
(Promoter Marco Epstein welcomes the fans to the event and promises a great afternoon of wrestling action featuring world renowned talent Dyanmite Kid, two very accomplished women in the Fabulous Moolah and Mildred Burke, as well as the two amateur greats Bob Backlund and Jack Brisco facing off in the main event.)
Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) vs. The Moondogs (Rex & Spot) w/ Jimmy Hart Hawk and Animal rush the ring, but Rex and Spot are ready and gain the upper hand. The Roadies recovered quickly, nailing Rex with a double clothesline. The action spilled out of the ring, where Spot nailed Hawk with his bone in clear view of the referee. The ref wasted no time in disqualifying the Moondogs.
Curt Hennig vs. Nikita Koloff Hennig came out quickly, but managed to take out the ref in the process. While the ref was down, both men battled back and forth before the action spilled out of the ring and Koloff gained the advantage. Back in the ring, the ref recovered and Koloff tried to gain a submission with a bear hug. Hennig escaped and the match continued. Koloff maintained the advantage, but as Koloff attempted to go to the top rope, Hennig recovered and delivered a SUPER HENNIG PLEX, only gaining a two count. Hennig continued his assault, but Koloff recovered. The action continued back and forth until the action again spilled out of the ring. Neither man heeded the ref's commands to re-enter the ring and he disqualified both men.
Fabulous Moolah vs. Rockin' Robin Robin had the initial advantage, but it was very brief. Moolah quickly recovered and dominated the rest of the match, but Robin showed her resiliency. Moolah gained several near falls throughout, but just couldn't get the three count as Robin managed to survive. Ultimately, Robin ran out of gas and Moolah pinned her with a JACKKNIFE CRADLE.
Dynamite Kid vs. ‘Mr. Electricity’ Steve Regal The tempo of this match was insane as Regal came out fast, but his attack was countered. Dynamite went on the attack, but Regal battled back. The action continued back and forth with neither man being able to get the duke. This match ended in a time limit draw.
'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan vs. Tully Blanchard w/ JJ Dillon Duggan overpowered Blanchard early and dominated the early going. Blanchard countered with his speed advantage and took control. Duggan battled back, Blanchard endured. The action spilled out of the ring, where Blanchard was able to gain the advantage after a Dillon distraction. Back in the ring Blanchard delivered a SLINGSHOT SUPLEX and made the pin.
INTERMISSION
Penny Banner vs. Mildred Burke Burke dominated the majority of the match, but Banner absorbed all the punishment and battled back. Both ladies battled back and forth in the closing moments before Banner pinned Burke with a top rope splash.
Nick Bockwinkel w/ Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan vs. Frank Gotch Gotch looked for a quick submission, but Bockwinkel escaped and rolled out of the ring. Gotch followed and Bockwinkel attacked, gaining the advantage. Bockwinkel rolled Gotch back in the ring and went for a high risk move. It proved to be too early in the match as Gotch met Bockwinkel at the top and superplexed him to the mat. Gotch went for the GOTCH TOEHOLD, but Bockwinkel made it to the ropes to break the hold. Heenan shouted encouragement to his charge as Bockwinkel attempted to defend himself against Gotch's continued assault. Bockwinkel eventually countered, but Gotch was able to quickly regain the advantage. Gotch again locked in the GOTCH TOEHOLD, but Heenan provided a distraction. Gotch broke the hold to address Heenan and Bockwinkel attacked Gotch from behind. Bockwinkel maintained the advantage and ultimately locked Gotch in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK, but Gotch escaped. The action continued back and forth for several minutes before Gotch locked Bockwinkel in a crossface and arm bar. Heenan attempted to interfere, but the pain was too great for Bockwinkel and Bockwinkel submitted before Heenan could make a difference.
Bob Backlund vs. Jack Brisco The match started with a handshake before the action became fast and furious as both men exchanged holds to start the match. The action continued back and forth before Backlund gained the advantage. Brisco battled back and the action again continued back and forth until Brisco locked in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Backlund fought with everything he had, but could not break or reverse the hold and was forced to submit.

ALLIANCE OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS paycom center OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 02-04-24
(Promoter Marco Epstein welcomes the fans to the event and talks about today’s great action, including the likes of ‘Sensational’ Sherri Martel, Rock N Roll Express, Midnight Express and local favorites Jerry and Jack Brisco, the latter taking on Lou Thesz in what promises to be an outstanding main event. Epstein urges the crowd to find their seats quickly as another local favorite, Danny Hodge, is up in the opening contest.)
Danny Hodge vs. Brad Armstrong This was a quick match in both tempo and length as Hodge gained an early advantage and got a fairly quick pin with an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL.
‘Sensational’ Sherri Martel vs. Jacqueline Martel gained an early advantage, but Jacqueline hung in and wouldn’t let Martel put her away, even kicking out after a TOP ROPE SPLASH. Jacqueline battled back and the action spilled out of the ring. Both women brawled all over ringside, not relenting and the ref called for a double disqualification.
Curt Hennig vs. Nikita Koloff After their last match ended in a double disqualification it was decided to book a rematch to see if a definite winner could be decided … and it didn’t take long for that to happen. Koloff offered his hand in a show of sportsmanship and was met by a hard slap to the face by Hennig, drawing a collective gasp from the crowd. Hennig nailed a dazed Koloff with a running clothesline then followed up with a HENNIG PLEX to gain the pinfall victory.
Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito vs. Rock N Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) Fuji and Saito overpowered RNR for most of the match. They isolated Morton early and wore him out, gaining several near falls. Morton finally made the hot tag to Gibson and Gibson came in a house afire. Saito ultimately countered the attack and the match continued back and forth with both teams executing multiple tags. RNR finally caught Fuji with a DOUBLE DROPKICK and Morton quickly made the pin.
‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper vs. ‘Ravishing’ Rick Rude w/ Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan Rude dominated the majority of the match, but Piper absorbed the punishment, waiting for an opportunity to strike. That opportunity ultimately came and Piper locked Rude in a SLEEPER. Rude escaped, but Piper continued his offensive and finally put Rude away with a knee lift.
Jerry Brisco vs. Jerry Lynn Brisco held a brief advantage before Lynn unloaded a flurry of offensive moves, but never attempted a cover. Brisco absorbed the punishment and battled back, attempting to wear Lynn down with submission holds. Lynn managed to escape multiple Boston crabs as well as a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK before ultimately succumbing to a ¾ nelson and grapevine.
INTERMISSION
Midnight Express (‘Beautiful’ Bobby Eaton & ‘Sweet’ Stan Lane) W/ Jim Cornette vs. Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) w/ ‘Wild’ Red Berry Lane and Costello started the match battling back and forth until Lane tagged Eaton. Costello countered Eaton’s assault and gained a near fall with a tombstone piledriver before Eaton tagged Lane. The action continued back and forth with both teams executing multiple tags. The Roos managed to hit Eaton with the BOOMARANG, but Cornette distracted the ref. Heffernan followed up with a flying tackle and went for the pin. Lane came in and made the save. The action continued back and forth with both teams again executing multiple tags. This match ultimately ended in a time limit draw.
Fabulous Moolah vs. Trish Stratus Stratus got a fast start, but Moolah countered and pinned Stratus with a JACKKNIFE CRADLE.
Lou Thesz vs. Jack Brisco This was a great contest with Thesz gaining several early near falls and Brisco battling back each time. Brisco’s fight ultimately ran out and Thesz pinned him with a THESZ PRESS.

WORLD WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Fabulous Moolah vs. Penny Banner There was a brief back and forth battle before the action spilled out of the ring. Both women brawled uncontrollably, ignoring the referee’s warnings, and were disqualified.
‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper vs. Tully Blanchard w/ JJ Dillon The action was fast and furious as both men battled back and forth early. After not being able gain a decided advantage, Dillon slipped Blanchard a pair of brass knuckles and Blanchard decked Piper. It was only a glancing blow and Piper kicked out of the pin attempt. Blanchard continued his assault, but was frustrated he couldn’t put Piper away. Dillon eventually slid a steel chair in the ring and distracted the ref as Blanchard wore Piper out with several chair shots. Piper still kicked out of the pin attempt. Piper battled back and as time was running out in the match, Blanchard gained a quick advantage, delivered a SLINGSHOT SUPLEX and managed to finally put Piper away.
Danny Hodge vs. Brian Christopher Hodge had early control of this match and seemed to just toy with Christopher before making him submit to an abdominal stretch.
Rockin’ Robin vs. Joanie Lauer Lauer gained the advantage out of the gates, but Robin recovered and battled back. Both women battled back and forth with neither gaining a decided advantage. Robin combined on a flurry of moves, knocking Lauer of kilter, but it only resulted in a couple of near falls. Lauer’s power advantage finally proved to be the difference and she beat Robin with a POWER BOMB.
Big Van Vader vs. Bob Backlund Backlund came right at Vader, attempted to knock him off balance, but only gained a near fall. Backlund continued his attack, but Vader countered with multiple POWER BOMBS, but Vader was not able to pick up the victory. Backlund recovered and surprised Vader with a ROLLING BACKBRIDGE to get the pin.
Gorilla Monsoon vs. Curt Hennig Hennig started fast against his bigger opponent, but Monsoon absorbed the punishment before going on a offensive of his own. Hennig attempted to battle back, but Monsoon put him away with a series of running tackles.
(INTERMISSION)
British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) vs. Jack & Jerry Brisco This was a spirited back and forth contest with both teams executing multiple tags. Jack caught Smith in a ROLING REVERSE CRADLE to get the victory.
Harley Race vs. Frank Gotch This was a very even contest throughout. Neither man had the advantage for long, but Race was able deliver a back suplex to a dazed Gotch and managed to get the victory.
(After the match, Big Van Vader hit the ring and attacked Gotch. Vader pummeled Gotch until Race called him off and the left Gotch battered in the ring. Gotch recovered enough to wipe the blood from his mouth before calling for the ring announcers mic. Gotch challenged Vader to a fight, face to face, at the next event.)
