Report: Seth Rollins has a torn MCL, partially torn meniscus
Seth Rollins successfully defended the world heavyweight championship against Jinder Mahal in the main event of Monday Night Raw this week but it came at a cost. Word quickly trickled out after the show that Rollins suffered a knee injury, though the extent was unknown at the time and everyone was crossing their fingers hoping for the best.
To that end, new reports indicate a mixed bag.
Fightful Select brings word that Rollins suffered a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus. They also say he hopes to avoid surgery but it’s unknown if that will ultimately be required in the end.
Could miss Wrestlemania

Jinder strikes again.
Well they can do Cody Rhodes winning a belt now.

depends whether he can defend the belt to drop it. If he can he could drop it to Jinder who then drops it to Punk

I wonder if WWE will strip him of the title because of the injury. If they do Rollins could justifiably protest that decision by pointing out the large amount of time Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns have taken off as champions for non-injury reasons.
I guess it all comes down to the amount of time he'd have to miss. If we're talking 9-12 months then I could understand taking the belt off of him. If it's just 2-3 months I think Rollins would have a legit argument for keeping it during his absence.
