To me, this set represents more of a comic book style, in storytelling sense, it makes you relook and rethink what you've seen. "Secret" to me goes right along with alternate reality. Tom's been a huge fan of comics and it's been showing over the years! Personally, I think Tom should stick to what he sells... and what customers have been faithful to supporting. Remember the Star Warrior / Thantos "comic book thing" that was attempted and dropped in the past? Tom doesn't write comic books. This game isn't Osk's phone game. This a a universe that has been followed faithfully for decades by wrestling fans. The only way this project works is if it's for collectors, people restarting their feds, or for specific Kronos purpose. It's fine this is being produced, but what about the faithful that have no use for it. It's another "waiting period" for CotG players. FTR should have really been a full promotion like NXT. It should still be taking place. CotG has so much history and faithful players to be this... ...I'll stop there. Who said anything about scrapping anything?? They are enhancement talent, me bucko...

For me, a set like this leaves me with more questions than answers. What am i supposed to do w these cards? I’m not starting my fed over. Is that the idea? With the EC set being released are we all supposed to start our feds over now? Then use these cards as each new year arrives? These cards could have been a second Merapis set. They could have been an FTR set. They could have been Kronos cards. So why “Secret History” was decided on when other, better existing options exist is confusing. Will Secret History continue or is this just a set that is happening because the app project died? This could be a set full of male characters from across time and the same hesitancy would be there. I’ve got lots of dollars invested in other COTG ventures (like FTR) and would much rather see those stories continue than scrap them for this. Who said anything about scrapping anything? This set is enhancement talent over the years in the GWF, me bucko Swarmee... aaaargh

What's up with all of the negativity here about this set...? Jeez Louise, and I'm being serious. I am not sure if you are being serious. And don't call me Louise. In a way it is changing history a bit. As has been stated in a few posts, we were told Thrash was the first female Gladiator and now we are finding out there was someone before her. That is changing the history of the GWF. I am not saying it is good or bad but simply it is a thing.

A way to add cards but via a different angle/story line. At the least, for me anyways, it is more cards to add in as needed and at best the storyline might make sense once we have more details. Could it be these wrestles were "forgotten" for some reason? Maybe GDOSEND had a hand in this?

But what if Brute and Massacre tried to bring in a female fighter from Aethra in 2086 or 2087... or 2088. And their efforts failed? As a GWF aficionado, I would want to know WHY this failed... What were the details surrounding the failure or her quick departure? Surely bwe think of the Aethrans as mindful tacticians and ruthless in battle. What went wrong... and how was this failed decision btaken on Aethra??? This isn't changing history. It's giving us history that we never knew about. Accept it. Or not. But Tom is expanding on what we already know. Plus, I wasn't calling you Louise. Jeez Louise is an American slang expression that should be followed with a sigh. It's a sign of exasperation and/or frustration. *Jeez Louise...**

It was most likely an homage to this famous scene from the 1980 comedic masterpiece Airplane!

History is changing.

Bingo. It takes great taste to catch an Airplane quote. Which is why you caught it and he didn't.
