WOW! Another 2 guys I never really thought I'd see in the game. I watched the guys on Progress and RevPro. Ecstatic with this set!

Absolutely fantastic announcement and great to see more UK talent in the game. Think I'm going to make them a trio with Jody Fleisch since all 3 were a part of 0121

I signed "The Lyrical Dragon" Man Like DeReiss last year during Mania Weekend at GCW's For the Culture show. Michael Oku, who I had signed two months earlier at PWG, was not on that show but he was in the crowd that night cheering for Man Like DeReiss and afterward I was able to talk to Man Like DeReiss and show him on my phone the card art for Michael Oku and Man Like DeReiss said we could do a card for him too and he signed the release form. Earlier this month, GCW brought in Man Like DeReiss for their show in Los Angeles and I got to show him his upcoming card art at that time.
Leon Slater was on my personal list for most wanted for the Indie game and I thought it would be perfect if we could get him signed and released alongside Man Like DeReiss. So I sent him an Email in January with the card art for Michael Oku and also for Billie Starkz (since he was part of the Brat Pack) and told him Man Like DeReiss was in the next set and then asked him if we could do a card for him too in this upcoming set. Leon got back to me the very next morning on Email to thank me for contacting him and he said yes about the game and then he later Emailed me the release form to make it official. At the age of 19, Leon Slater already has a TNA contract and Will Ospreay (who again was a trainer for last week's announcement Francesco Akira) has said he believes in 5 years Leon Slater will be on top of the industry.
Although as Boisterous Behavior, Man Like DeReiss and Leon Slater made last year's PWI's Top 100 tag teams (#81,) these are singles cards with some tag finisher mechanics (moves like the BLACK BUSTER and 3B) when they team together as they are overall primarily singles wrestlers.

Now I'm a little more awake than when I first saw the announcement, these are two of the hottest talents in British wrestling today. It is crazy that Leon Slater is not even 20 years old yet, he produces consistent high level matches with everyone right now. He's already had one of the best UK matches this year, when he beat Mike Bailey in January, he more than matched Mustafa Ali, and as proof he can step in the ring with almost anyone regardless of how well he knows them, he had a great match with Stephen Wolf at the weekend for RevPro, an indie guy from the Texas who is currently over here for a few dates and this was his first match in the UK.
As for DeReiss, he has charisma on tap. He is so over with crowds, that regardless of where he goes everyone chants 0121 with him. For those who don't know, this is the area dialling code for Birmingham, where he is from. While he perhaps has a little more charisma than Leon, he can also put on superb matches. He had an awesome match with Lio Rush at Progress last year, to name just one.

I knew it was DeReiss you had signed last year!!! I almost talked to Slater about the game last month, glad I didn't now, as you already had it all in hand!
