High Plains Wrestling 1.1 Scott Hudson and Larry Zbyszko welcome the fans to the special two hour kickoff episode of High Plains Wrestling! The Rock & Roll Express will take on Dutch Mantell & Austin Idol to crown the first United States Tag Team Champions later in the program and Mil Mascaras and Nick Bocwinkel will battle in the main event to crown the first United States Heavyweight Champion. Hudson introduces the first match.
1. Wahoo McDaniel vs. Kenny Jay Kenny Jay tries to get in some offense but Wahoo chops him down. Wahoo hits the falling chop for the win.
Winner - Wahoo McDaniel by pinfall
Zbyszko says Wahoo is a tough man. Hudson adds that he’ll have his hands full when he takes on Roddy Piper on this week’s High Plains Wrestling live events. Zbyszko introduces the next match.
2. Billy Wicks vs George South Wicks body slams South and locks on the double wristlock. South taps out.
Winner - Billy Wicks by submission
Zbsyzko says Wicks won’t have such an easy time with the Cuban Assassin this week. Hudson introduces the next match.
3. Rock and Roll Express vs. Dutch Mantell & Austin Idol for the vacant United States Tag Team titles. Dutch and Robert start the match. Dutch takes over and suplexes Robert for a two count. Dutch and Robert battle outside the ring and Robert comes out on top. The Rock and Roll hit the double dropkick and Robert holds off Austin Idol while the referee makes the three count.
Winners - The Rock and Roll Express by pinfall. The Rock and Roll are the United Stages Tag Team Champions.
As the Rock and Roll Express celebrate with the belts, they are attacked from behind by Too Cool! As security restores order, Hudson throws it to the High Plains Wrestling Event Center with Chris Cruise.
Cruise announces that this week, High Plains Wrestling will be in Ogallala, Nebraska; Portales, New Mexico; Pecos, Texas; Aurora, Colorado; and Cheyenne, Wyoming. Fans can expect to see Too Cool challenging for the United States Tag Team titles, Eric the Red challenging for the United States Heavyweight title, Hiro Matsuda vs. Juventud Guerrera, Wahoo McDaniel vs. Roddy Piper, Warhorse vs. Johnny Mantell, Angelo Poffo vs. Dick Hutton, Billy Wicks vs. the Cuban Assassin, plus Rip Rogers and Mike Graham in action. Tickets are available at the arena box offices and Bass Pro Shops everywhere. Card subject to change.
Cruise throws it back to the booth and Scott Hudson introduces the next match.
4. Hiro Matsuda vs. Jake Millman Milliman gets in some offense. Matsuda works him over and clamps on the Sleeper. Milliman taps out.
Winner - Hiro Matsuda by submission
Zbyszko says Matsuda will have a harder time against Juventud Guerrera this week. Hudson introduces the next match.
5. Dick Hutton vs. Bob Cook Hutton waves a wad of cash in Bob Cook’s face, saying he’ll give Cook $1000 if he can beat him. Cook naturally agrees and goes for a leg dive. Hutton counters and hits a scoop slam for a two count. Hutton wears Cook down and locks on the abdominal stretch for the win.
Winner - Dick Hutton by submission
Hudson says Dick Hutton better not wave his money in the face of Angelo Poffo, who has a reputation for being a miser. Zbyszko introduces the main event.
6. Mil Mascaras vs. Nick Bockwinkel for the vacant United States Heavyweight title Mascaras and Bockwinkel battle back and forth. Mascaras hits a flying body press for a quick win.
Winner - Mil Mascaras by pinfall. Mascaras is the United States Heavyweight champion.
After the match, Eric the Red attacks Mascaras from behind. Mascaras hits a plancha to the floor on Eric the Red as Hudson and Zbyszko sign off, telling fans to catch High Plains Wrestling events in their area and tune in next Sunday for more High Plains Wrestling action!

High Plains Wrestling 1.1.1 - Ogallala, Nebraska Gary Michael Cappetta thanks the crowd for coming and introduces the first match.
1. Warhorse vs. Johnny Mantell Mantell gets the early advantage but Warhorse drills him with a rising lariat for a two count. Warhorse locks on the scorpion deathlock and Mantell taps out.
Winner - Warhorse by submission
After the match, Mantell attacks Warhorse and chokes him with his bul lrope until security arrives. Once Mantell leaves the ring area and Warhorse is helped to the back, Cappetta introduces the next match.
2. Billy Wicks vs. Cuban Assassin Cuban Assassin tries mat wrestling with Wicks in the opening minutes but gets frustrated. Assassin whips Wicks to the ropes and clobbers him with a lariat. Assassin hits Fidel’s Backbreaker for a two count. Wicks and Sierra battle back and forth. The Cuban Assassin hits a back suplex for a two count. Wicks makes a comeback and locks on a sleeper but The Cuban Assassin fights his way to the corner. Wicks and Sierra battle back and forth. Wicks locks on the double wristlock but Sierra manages to put his foot on the ropes to force the rope break. Wicks switches gears and locks on the rear toehold. Sierra taps out.
Winner - Billy Wicks by submission
The Cuban Assassin offers Wicks his hand after the match. Wicks goes to shake it and Assassin slaps him in the face. Wicks and Assassin grapple until security forces them to the back. Gary Michael Cappetta introduces the next match.
3. Roddy Piper vs. Wahoo McDaniel Piper and Wahoo brawl all over the ring area. Wahoo nails Piper with a falling chop for a two count. Wahoo hits a tomahawk chop for a two count. Wahoo hits a backbreaker and Piper rolls out of the ring. Wahoo goes out after him and Piper brains Wahoo with a chair. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Wahoo McDaniel by DQ
Gary Michael Cappetta calls a thirty minute intermission and announces that tickets are on sale for the next time High Plains Wrestling comes to Ogallala in three weeks. Tickets for Alliance, Nebraska next week are also on sale. Once the thirty minutes have elapsed, Capetta introduces the next match, saying Mike Graham will be substituting for Juventud Guerrera.
4. Hiro Matsuda vs. Mike Graham Graham and Matsuda grapple back and forth. Matsuda gets the upper hand and locks on the sleeper but Graham escapes the hold. Graham makes a comeback and hits a suplex for a two count. Graham locks on the figure four but Matsuda fights his way to the ropes. Graham pulls Matsuda to the middle of the ring and locks on the figure four a second time. Matsuda taps out.
Winner - Mike Graham by submission
The crowd cheers for substitute wrestler Mike Graham, although a small subset tries to get a chant for Juventud Guerrera going. Cappetta introduces the next match.
5. Dick Hutton vs. Angelo Poffo Hutton and Poffo grapple back and forth. Hutton rolls up Poffo after a missed turnbuckle charge for a two count. Hutton clamps on the abdominal stretch and Poffo taps out.
Winner - Dick Hutton by submission
Gary Michael Cappetta calls a ten minute intermission before the main event, telling fans there are still tickets for sale for the next time High Plains Wrestling comes to Ogallala in three weeks. Ricky hits a dropkick on Christopher for a two count. The Rock and Roll hits another double dropkick for the win.
Winners - The Rock and Roll Express by pinfall, their first title defense

Always liked Scott Hudson as an announcer. I was looking forward to him & Arn Anderson as a WWE-owned WCW announce team, but we all know how that played out.
Love the comment about Angelo Poffo being a "miser"!

I was looking forward to him & Arn Anderson as a WWE-owned WCW announce team, but we all know how that played out. Love the comment about Angelo Poffo being a "miser"! Best of luck to you with your new fed! I figure the Sunday show will be like one of WCW's 4 or 5 weekend shows with the B or C list announcers. I didn't think someone would catch the 'miser' thing that quickly.

I didn't think someone would catch the 'miser' thing that quickly. May I suggest "Stagger" Lee Marshall for a B or C list announcer? Please no Stevie Ray or Mark Madden! I couldn't stand hearing them on commentary again!

High Plains Wrestling 1.1.2 - Portales, New Mexico Gary Michael Cappetta thanks the crowd for coming and introduces the first match, saying Rip Rogers is substituting for Warhorse after Mantell’s post match attack last night in Ogallala.
1. Rip Rogers vs. Johnny Mantell The Hustler goes to work on Johnny Mantell at the bell. Roger and Mantell brawl outside the ring and Rogers nails Mantell with a chair. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Johnny Mantell by DQ
The crowd boos the referee for the weak finish. Rogers and Mantell have words and Warhorse jumps the guardrail and gives them the double noggin knocker! Security escorts Warhorse out. Gary Michael Cappetta introduces the next match.
2. Billy Wicks vs. Cuban Assassin Wicks tears into the Cuban Assassin at the bell, nailing him with a lariat and battering him into the guardrail outside the ring. Wicks locks on the sleeper but Sierra fights him off. Wicks locks on the crossface headlock but Sierra is able to reach the ropes. Wicks locks on the double wristlock but Sierra escapes the hold. Wicks switches gears and locks on the crossface headlock. Sierra taps out.
Winner - Billy Wicks by submission
Wicks offers Sierra his hand after the match and Sierra rolls out of the ring and sulks down the aisle to the dressing room. Cappetta introduces the next match.
3. Roddy Piper vs. Wahoo McDaniel Piper attacks Wahoo from behind during the introductions and slams him into the ringpost. Piper hits a neckbreaker for a two count. Piper hits a back suplex for a two count. Wahoo makes a comeback and nails Piper with a tomahawk chop for a two count. Piper and Wahoo brawl all over the ring area. Piper nails Wahoo with a chair, busting him open. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Wahoo by DQ
Wahoo gets on the mic and says if Piper wants to fight dirty, they can fight dirty tomorrow night in Pecos, Texas in a Falls Count Anywhere match! Piper hesitates but the crowd cows him into agreeing.
Gary Michael Cappetta calls a thirty minute intermission and announces that tickets are on sale for the next time High Plains Wrestling comes to Portales in three weeks. Tickets for Roswell, New Mexico in eight days are also on sale. Once the thirty minutes have elapsed, Capetta introduces the next match, saying Mike Graham will be substituting for Juventud Guerrera.

Graham goes to the top for a flying body press but Matsuda rolls through and hooks the leg for a two count. Graham and Matsuda battle back and forth. High Plains Wrestling 1.1.3 - Pecos, Texas Gary Michael Cappetta thanks the crowd for coming and introduces the first match.
1. Warhorse vs. Johnny Mantell Mantell and Warhorse battle back and forth. Warhorse takes Mantell down and locks on the Scorpion Deathlock but Mantell fights his way to the ropes. Warhorse throws Mantell out of the ring and hits the double stomp off the apron. Mantell makes a comeback and hits a neckbreaker on the concrete. Warhorse barely beats the count back into the ring. Mantell whips Warhorse to the buckles and eats an elbow. Warhorse goes for the scorpion deathlock a second time but Mantell fights him off. Warhorse works on Mantell’s leg and locks on the scorpion deathlock a third time. Mantell taps out.
Winner - Warhorse by submission
Gary Michael Cappetta introduces the next match, saying Rip Rogers will be substituting for the Cuban Assassin.

Wahoo nails Piper with a tomahawk chop in the aisle and covers him for the win.
