What if we called him Kniod and used a trick like the game CANVAS does and create a clear plastic sheet with clown make up that goes over the current card?

That art looks easy to color. Whip out the colored pencils and make him Doink. Or have AI do it.

I really hope we get a Doink version at some point. We can still call him Borne or whatever just with the clown art and move set. I loved that gimmick before they made him a face.

He really wasn't the face...Ray basically took it over when the character was turned face.

The plan was to run with Borne as the babyface, and here he is not only as a babyface but still doing the split-personality thing, which probably wasn't sustainable but far more interesting than another babyface incarnation of the character: |

That would be true. I think Tom did it about as well as could with Defender/Jester but even that quickly became double Jester.
