from the match being referenced, I remember there was one very dangerous spot where a balcony dive knocked down many fans around one of the front rows

It's not for everybody, nothing is for everybody and it would be arrogant to think everything should be made to your liking. One final view on the match in question.
By all the metrics wrestling is judged, the match was a success. A sold out venue, a crowd that were fully invested in it, a promotion that has continued to regularly sell out since then, and the video is the most watched on their YouTube channel by some distance.
Regardless of personal preference, surely those things are undeniable.

There’s plenty of wrestling promotions out there. If you don’t like GCW, try MLW. If you don’t like MLW, try Freelance. Et cetera, et cetera, ad Infinitum. Problem is, people paid money expecting three WRESTLING cards. For WRESTLERS. The Invisible Man isn’t a wrestling card, representing a wrestler. Because it’s not a wrestler. It doesn’t exist. Invisible Man vs. Invisible Stan wasn’t a “match,” and it wasn’t “wrestling.” It was very good performance art by a skilled referee. When they announced that a runner-up in the polls from last year would be released, I—and I’ll bet a lot of other people—assumed it would be Hammerstone. You know, because he’s been all over the indies lately, and he held the MLW title for a long time, and many people felt he needed an update, and he was just in the news for signing a TNA contract, and…oh yeah…because he actually exists. Then we get an Invisible Man. Wearing clothes, and we are told that’s not his ring gear. Of course it’s not. Because he doesn’t exist. There’s NO ONE in the ring doing those “moves.” I get the joke though. People were expecting Hammerstone, and we got this. SWERVE! Ha ha, good joke. Almost April Fool’s Day and all that. Now can we have the REAL third wrestler card, please? |

I think the biggest problem is, like in todays society, people have accepted too much silliness Growing up, if there was 10 segments on a show, nine would be serious or mean something, so you could accept the “Jimmy Valiant/Paul Jones” because the rest of the show meant business Today, that’s completely opposite. For every serious segment that may mean something, can draw some heat, you have to get thru 9 segments of goofiness. It’s not worth it |

Once again, I understand people that don't like this card. I understand why. I have no problem with the card but hate the art.
Those wanting this or that in Prime, I look at Prime as a "blind bag" or lottery. I don't expect to like everyone.
Maybe this could have been an LE and single purchase?
