I read that Rock has a big input in this year's inductions.
It's reported that his grandmother Lia Maivia could be one of them.
Time will tell if that's true or just internet rumors.

Is it bad I'd pop if they got Rick Derringer to induct the US Express? He did do their theme music after all, even if Hulk Hogan took it after them...

I don't have a problem with Ali being inducted.
He was a life-long wrestling fan who admits that Gorgeous George influenced him.
He had the match with Inoki and also was at a Mid-South show in the corner of The Snowman for a match with Jake Roberts.
But when it comes to VIP inductees, all I have to say is "Where the F___ is Cyndi Lauper?"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not surprised at all as I was actually recently thinking about this when I got Muhammad Ali's new Retro figure that was sent to me upon release as a preorder in the mail just 2-3 weeks ago along with the newly released Retro figures of red and yellow Hulk Hogan, LOW's Big John Studd (which I posted a picture of the Filsinger Games Promoters Facebook page,) and Wendi Richter. I am assuimng this newly-released action figure (and wasn't there also another figure of Muhammad Ali released last year?) and a spot in the Hall of Fame was part of the same deal. |

Seems weird timing to me. Either should have gone in long ago due to being at the first WM or gone in at a city with a connection to him or a year that was anniversary of his birth, death or big win in boxing. Either way he is as worth, if not more, than Drew Carey. Good for him.
