Yeah I can understand it needs to make financial sense. The small ones sound good but would you sell enough product to pay for the cost of going there? The bigger game conventions get you more potential eyeballs but they're also going to cost more even if you have local promoters helping. It's something I'm interested in seeing what might be done.

Working together with Go. Fight Pow!, Squared Circle, Face To The Mat, Super Show, Superstar Pro fans, etc would be a great way to introduce the game to an audience already wide open to playing it. And if it was hosted at the Waterloo Hall of Fame even better. Chad said he'd love to host it but wasn't going to plan it, so we'd need someone to step up on that front. In my opinion, this might do better than to have a booth at a general gaming convention because attendees to this one would already have a interest in wrestling games. Just an idea. If anyone wants to coordinate this for the TNTHOF, please let me know. No charge for gaming space or display tables, of course!

Has anyone looked into doing the smaller or mid sized wrestling conventions? Maybe with a sponsorship that included the signing of the wrestlers involved? I go to one in Oshkosh that has brought some pretty big names and thought it would cool to have a set for the show. Maybe use some of the big names and some of the roster from the independent roster.

"Has anyone looked into doing the smaller or mid sized wrestling conventions?"
This is a good idea and with some organization may be workable. The issue as always is having enough product on hand to display at a table.

Thanks Chad. This is one of the most obvious connections but again requires product and people to work the table.

TOM , I don’t want to speak for Mike, but in the four years I have traveled to Waterloo, Mike has been there with FG product each and every year. We also have a Midwest contingent that is usually present there that is always happy to work the table as needed. I sat at the table to give Mike a break during the wrestling show, and got to have an amazing conversation with Les Thatcher about the action and heard his and Thunderbolt Patterson’s commentary during it. All that to say, I am happy to pitch in at the table every Hall of Fame weekend as it has become a tradition each summer for me.

Working the table is a lot of fun. Even standing by the table and making suggestions is good.

Sounds great Chad. It sounds like we have that pretty well covered.

We are continuing to work hard on our fall releases and they are coming along nicely.
The CAC set will give Legends fans a few more wrestlers to add to their stables and their card collections. The Indie set focuses on one promotion and so some feuds and angles will be built in as well as usable in the many ways creative promoters use game cards. And the Early Classics set continues our exploration of GWF history pre-2087. Fun all around!
Our goal is to begin shipping the first week of October.
And then we put our noses right back to the grindstone with our big holiday releases set for December! More on that later.
I will be implementing a new release schedule in 2025. Again, more on that later.
We are going on 40 years (which is when I began creating and writing COTG, around 1984) and we are still alive, well, in fact thriving thanks to you! With all our growth over the years I am excited to explore new avenues in 2025 and beyond. Thanks for sharing this excitement with me!
