My cat has been wanting dinner at 4pm since November. Well looks like her time will be right again today.
It's dumb, nobody likes it and I think the one think we all agree Democrat or Republican.

Considering there's been a bill approved by the Senate to abolish it which has been stuck in Congress for years, elected Democrats and Republicans don't agree on it....shocking I know. |

I don't think it is a partisan issue as that bill passed the Democratic controlled Senate in early 2022 but the Democratic controlled House (the House later switched to the Republicans in the 2022 Midterms) at the time did not pass it and now the Republican controlled House has not passed it yet either. I am not sure what the holdup is but both parties in the House have had the opportunity to pass this bill and failed. Yeah, Daylights Saving Time definitely needs to go. It is not so bad for me this year as I am just starting Spring Break so I don't have to get work earlier than normal tomorrow before I have adjusted but it is sort of stupid to keep it going these days. |

They brought the bill up again today.
92% of people polled are in favor of it with 8% undecided meaning NO ONE is in favor of it lol.
Arizona was talking about how they thought it was dumb and never enacted it. They also cited desert temperature really makes the practice obsolete

I think everyone wants to get rid of daylight savings time changes. The debate is whether to keep standard time or daylight time. To me its easy, keep daylight time. Lets have more light after work and school. The only reason I have heard for keeping standard time the whole year instead is so that school kids waiting for the bus dont have to do it in the dark.

The reason for it is outdated. It is why many states have stopped it and more have legislation to do the same. We do here in FL but our politicians are too busy writing needless bills and pulling their heads out of their rear. By the end of the decade I would not be surprised if it is just a thing of the past everywhere.
