I know there are cards out there with an older Verne, but does anyone Have a card depicting him in his prime? I'd love to rematch him with Lou Thez and see who comes out in top definitively!

There's a strong AWA Verne bootleg that matches up quite well with the official Thesz card. They did wrestle during this era at, I think, Comiskey Park. I believe Gagne might have won that one. Of course, he was the promoter. 😉

As a correction, Gagne and Thesz met up in 1967, but it was not at the ballpark. Verne would have been 41 years old and Lou a decade older at the time.
