I found myself in upstate New York's Amish country the last time I tried to make the drive to Ilio's, so I know the feeling. But...no GPS back then.
It's all a moot point because I'm in a ridealong situation this year anyway. But options are there.

Yep, options are important. For me it is not the cost of a toll road but the principle of it. I prefer to avoid them. That being said, if my rental has the easy pass, I might use the toll and deal with it.

But to me I am willing to pay for convenience as long as its not totally unreasonable.

I have finalized my post-Galacticon travel plans. After I leave Galacticon on Sunday, me and Sinestro24 are driving to Cooperstown and touring the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Monday morning. Afterward, I booked a rental car at a location near Coopertown and I am going to drive to Vermont on Monday, to New Hampshire on Tuesday, and to Maine on Wednesday. On Thursday I will be driving into Boston for Independence Day and I have bought a ticket to attend Beyond Wrestling's Americana show that night. I fly out of Boston at 5 AM and there is a 5 1/2 hours stopover in Nashville. So I am going to leave the airport and get some breakfast somewhere so I can count Tennesseee as my 40th state. I then fly home to Las Vegas where I arrive at about 2:30 PM which will be enough time to go to Graphouse (a fed Sandra Moone partially runs, I know at least some of their shows have been on IWTV) at Area 15 (this will be my first time going to Area 15.)

I would suggest that anyone not familiar with the area should pony up the $3 toll and use the NYS Thruway (Route 90) for their GalactiCon travels. God forbid you wind up in Binghamton.

Thank you Martin, at least my trip through much of the Northeast has to be better than my trip to Atlanta earlier this month when the city's sudden water outage closed everything down leaving me unable to find a place to eat or use the bathroom lol. I look forward to seeing you on Friday my friend!

I look forward to seeing you on Friday my friend! I remember that. Look on the bright side. About a week later they had one guy open fire in a food court and another guy hijack a city bus on the same day. Makes a water main break seem pleasant lol. Looking forward to it as well.
