Had a great time at my third Galacticon, it was great seeing everyone and reconnecting. I look forward to next year as long as mikefortune is willing to drive I'll try to hook us up with a better room (preferably one with a working AC unit). This was my first Galacticon away from Sheldon House so I did kind of miss the house. The College was great a venue and I enjoyed Venue 31 on Sunday. Sucks the rain kept the game from happening, it would have been my fist baseball at that level, and I was looking forward to grabbing a hat at the very least. I managed to get to the Semi-Finals of one tournament, but the dice turned on me lol. Had fun in all the tournaments I played in, even though I honestly don't know much about the Champions side of things anymore. Hopefully next year will my 4th Galacticon and first back-to-back appearance. As for the next few Galacticon's it's starting to look like we may have to start bidding wars to get the convention to area's we all want. I just hope we don't get into those ridiculous bidding wars that WrestleMania has become lol.

One of these years they should hold Galacticon in one of the states in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone. It would give people living in the western half of the continent a chance to attend without having to spend an arm and a leg on airfare. While this was just my third in person Galacticon, let me just say that time zone or not I am still making an effort to attend each and every year moving forward. I had to fly to NY and assume I will have to spend an arm and a leg on airfare to attend future events as well. What is kinda nuts about it is - Midwest Galacticons each of the two previous years had similar attendance numbers as this past weekend’s did, with many of the same faces making appearances at all three. I just believe that we make efforts to attend events no matter where they are, and I think, as Chicago and Waterloo showed, Midwest Galacticons can and did work.

The ones for everyone were Foil Pinnacle, Dick Beyer (unmasked) and A-Kid Attendees got two other cards. I don't have any official answer, but from what I've heard, expect next G-Con to be not only East but a little further south. Kevin Ford, it was great to meet you and talk a little Chikara. Maybe next year I'll find a way to get to talk to more people. Didn't get to talk to Jeff and Josh as I usually do either. Quick Recap of G-Con for me Travel was annoying as usual but it's been worse and unlike some people flying, I didn't have to worry about stuff being canceled. Kevin and Kathy were great as always but we did miss our partner in crime, Jim Steel. Most of my conversation with people was in the morning as that was when I had most of my free time. I'm bad with names but good with faces. Everyone I met was great. My only regret was not talking more. Tournaments were fine and as always a work in progress. Feel free to put suggestions here so we can work on making them better. Really like playing at the college. Venue 31 was fairly nice too. Highlight for me was though she didn't min I did get Riot Grrl to the finals of the women's tournament. As is common here, I'll list the people great to see but honestly it was great to see everyone. On the Edge, it was great meeting you. Keep in touch, my friend. Your quirky sense of humor matches mine well. TK you and Markus were great as always. Meleskies are always good to meet. Kevin Ford was also really fun to meet. I could have talked Chikara for hours. KB, passionate as always. I brain drained so forgot to talk to you about your card but it was still good seeing you. Rob and Matt were fun as always. Jeff and Josh, if you make it next year and I do too we'll need to spend some time just talking. Barry, the cards were great and though I don't know how much I'll use them, I was very happy to get them and to support the Hall. Milton, didn't get to talk much but always nice to see you. Always nice to see Tim and Stu. Enjoy Waterloo, Tim. Stu, it was also nice to talk to your other half. Zeke, you're one of the people I consider a friend so I always enjoy when we can meet. Hopefully, we see each other in January. Everyone else, it was a blast. Hopefully we can all meet again next year. Till next G-Con, TTX (and please kindly, use Troy and not the other name. Just trust me, I have my reasons)

Had a great time in Lovely Jamestown, was great to see everyone and meet some new people too.
Lot of great gifts and generous gifts from fellow promoters. Love everyone’s creativity.
Had a great trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame with Zeke the next day.

I usually post more of a recap after Galacticon but I have been traveling alot just since Sunday as I have been to Cooperstown to see the National Baseball Hall of Fame, I stayed last night in Vermont, I am currently in New Hampshire, and I will be in Maine tomorrow.
The drive today from Vermont to New Hampshire was very scenic as I drove through Green Mountain National Forest and across some amazing bridges and alongside some impressive river creeks. This area is very different from Las Vegas.
I am in Concord, New Hampshire and after making the drive I stopped at a 7-11 to buy a beer to unwind a little at my hotel The woman clerk was training somebody there and she pointed at me, without carding me, and said "You will get to know your regulars and you don't need to card them but anybody you don't know you need to card no matter how old they look." I am not a regular at that 7-11, I just drove into this state for the first time a couple of hours ago.
I think tonight I might go to the local AA baseball game which is in Manchester less than 20 minutes from my hotel.

How was the Baseball Hall Of Fame? I was at the Hockey Hall Of Fame in Toronto a few years ago which was really cool. You must look exactly like one of their daily customers at that 7-11. LOL! They say everybody has their "separated at birth twin" somewhere out there; my sister and I saw mine once on Judge Judy.🤣 Sounds like you're having a fun trip. Enjoy the remainder of it.😀

Clearly you have a doppelganger in Concord, and you now need to stay there and find them!

The National Baseball Hall of Fame was great, me and Sinestro24 spent several hours there before he dropped me off at the place where I picked up my rental car. Yeah, I think I must resemble one of their regular customers as I have never been in New Hampshire prior to today.
