Well one thing to consider is the level of the wrestling. The larger the promotion and the event the more careful you have to be. But for smaller indie feds it can be really fun. I remember when I lived in WV the NWA:WV would hold shows at the local high school but one time they had one in the parking lot of a U-shaped strip mall. Well, more like three sides of a square than a U. The weather was warm, a bit cloudy but did not interfere and it was a fun experience. I would love to see an outdoor wrestling event held at the Big House in Ann Arbor MI. It would set attendance records.

You mean like WCW Hog Wild? Depends on the weather (probably best in the summer,though with today's mad weather that is unpredictable - snow in July and sun hot in December) and has venue got a roof. But Yeah why not?
