I'm interested to see if there will be any conflicts between Siege and Apex this year. I really want Apex to be the monster Aethran, but I like Siege too.

Before my "thunder" gets stole here since hexxstar beat me on discord but I had a theory hit me on lunch ... (he is thinking Rage though) ...
What if Pinnacle is a de-cleansed Turmoil? He would be new since he hasn't been around previous sets. He was a young man fighting the Gladiator cleansing brainwash and had turmoil. Now clean he is his 'Pinnacle' self. AND he's a perfect feud if Fist sticks around.
This all would fit Tom's if you see one thing it could give away whole set. The whole set is a Gladiator Civil War between those still in hive and those not. Havoc gets banished because Deva wants to keep Apex in her power so hive gladiators side with her. Havoc like Morpheus in the matrix will be banished but he will be tracking down cleansed and pulling them out of hive/matrix de-cleansing them and they fight the hive.
Prolly way off but a thought I had

My crazy mind came up with this. I said Pinnacle might be Perfect Specimen or Titan Power. What if it is both? That is the big twist this set. A god like power, not GODSEND but someone like him and maybe even a nemesis, comes and takes two, or maybe more, wrestlers and combines them. Talk about your power surge. Finishers of 7 or 8 but pins of negative numbers that offset the finishers. Also, a way to thin out the heard without needing an explanation, or no explanation as has been the case before, of where the missing wrestlers are because they are still here.

Just a quick post.
I will not be able to make the Con again this year, but will be joining through the virtual con.
Anyone interested in getting a copy of the COTG Fact Books, message me here on the Board and I will get them out to you as soon as I can. The non-GWF edition is currently up-to-date, but the GWF edition will have to wait until the mailman gets 2140 to me and I get the book updated. Unfortunately, I have no control over when that might be.

Has it been revealed in the teasers for this set whether Deva is still the GWF Commissioner?
I remember last year she received a 1 year extension in a vote by the Board of Directors that went 5-0 with one of the members abstaining.

My guess is she will get one more year. Of course, a lot will depend on who is coming in the new set. Well, that and ratings plus ad revenue. |
