I showed my youngest the two pictures that we have been shown and he thinks that Tom is bringing a third time line into the GWF...he thinks Pinnacle looks like Spec and the guy last night is another version of Wolf/Lope... So basically Future Shock Part Two...if so, not sure how I feel about that one... Perhaps you are right.Tom did say writing parallel universes and timeliness will do that in a post on this board recently.Perhaps it was a clue.I don't mind those type of storylines in gaming or comics but always preferred a big bad or team of bad's.Like Chaos,End of Days,Monolith,The Third Force,Godsend,Sly,etc . |

Ok here's my best guess as to what Tom has cooking:
GODSEND (yes, that one) returns and plunges the whole fed into total anarchy by sending ALL of them (minus a few I'm sure) - THE WHOLE FED - to a parallel timeline, where they arrive in GWF 2083. I think PINNACLE is prime OMEGA/a version of ALPHA FORCE, and that is young WOLF, like 60 years ago, actual young WOLF; just from another universe.
I think we get a big set of new characters and the ORIGINS clues (female BRUTE and MASSACRE, KING, QUEEN, KNIGHT,KRAKAN, BURNING MAN (HELL), etc. have been there for 4 years.

I still say that all signs point to Merapis. No need for time travel, parallel universes or any of that messiness, because Godsend has set it up as the new Kronos. (See* BEST OF set)
If Merapis was outside of time and space, like Kronos, how did Orrus and Tarval make their way from there to the current GWF?

Merapis is cut off from the rest of the cosmos, a freakish
“mirror universe” created and hidden away by GODSEND
to satisfy his needs for entertainment. GODSEND created
everything necessary for these battles to take place including
a Tournament of Champions mega outdoor amphitheater *.
Inhabitants of the planet attend the matches and enjoy
watching the greatest fighters in the cosmos square off against
each other. The battles between the GWF legends will be epic!
And to make it more interesting, they must face the greatest
fighter on Merapis---Orrus the Unstoppable!
Merapis is being introduced for the first time in Tournament of
Champions, another new race and world is added to GWF lore!
Can Orrus back up his boasting against GWF legends like Star
Warrior, Thantos, Wolf, Monolith, and Endgame? Time will tell
when you start playing!
The trickster god known as GODSEND has isolated a planet,
Merapis, hiding it from the rest of the cosmos behind an
invisibility shield. In order to satisfy his whims for entertainment
and pleasure he has brought the greatest fighters in GWF
history to Merapis to do battle in epic confrontations!
Are these actually the real GWF superstars that GODSEND
has brought together for Tournament of Champions? Or are
they alternate reality versions created by GODSEND for his
entertainment pleasure? It’s impossible to tell the difference!
Merapis is a desolate planet of swamps and danger, long a
battleground for the beings on this world engaged in a civil war
against each other. The creatures on Merapis have a lifespan
of thousands of years, which has interfered with the evolution
of their species. The problem is they live too long! Their brutish
ancestors continue to multiply and reproduce and are at
war with the more advanced offshoots that have evolved to
become less bestial and more civilized.
Merapis has lapsed into a civil war between the higher evolved
and lower evolved races for as long as their recorded history.
The advanced race, represented by the powerful fighter Orrus,
have even taken to imprisoning their lower evolved brethren or
even banishing them into outer space.
* Is that the arena behind PINNACLE!
Why did Orrus and Taraval THE EVOLVED target The Basilisk when they first entered the fed? Is The Basilisk (parts unknown) one of the Brutish ancestors?
