I would like to see them return I do not want all the story telling at them. IMO what would be best is a mix of press conferences and behind the scenes interactions.

Yeah the press conferences were great. Dreggs finding out his brother was still alive, Mad Jester's return, all the chaos of The Gladiator pressers. So much fun. I knew who those characters were from the press conferences. I couldn't tell you a thing about Quagmire or his partner personality wise. Exactly! Press conferences were great for character building. 2115 Gladiator press conference when CRUSH is introduced, and a video is shown of him getting his cleansing. Crush in a bathtub, while Thunder pours Kool-Aid over his head. CLASSIC! Thunder and Thrash try hard to hold back smirks, as the rest of the team just scowl. That little tidbit said so much about all of them, sometimes less is more. I knew who those characters were from the press conferences. I couldn't tell you a thing about Quagmire or his partner personality wise. B-I-N-G-O!!!We're getting so much more verbiage now, but we don't know who these wrestlers are. How does that work?

Is Quagmire the best example though. I mean getting to know him is like getting to know the squirrel that hangs out in the tree near my home. I mean, I am sure if he could speak English, he would have a TON to say about nuts and the evil of dogs, but do I really want or need to know all of that.

That Crush one was awesome. A personal favorite was the 2099 one with US Patriot stealing Arsenal during the press conference. While Dreadnaught and Justice definitely had issues with The Mercenaries, this gave US Patriot and Splatter more reason for a rivalry than "The Villains reassigned the feuds."

The Gladiators always had the best press conferences. The one with the AniMen dolls was a classic, as was Mayhem responding to a question about the new Gladiator Legends shirt with, "I ate one for breakfast."
The Crush video was great because it showed a different side of the Aethrans--that even they (or at least Thunder) weren't above a practical joke at someone else's expense.
All-time favorite is probably Splatter unveiling his Lottery, and promptly shooting down every possible objection ("You'll be fined!" "Money don't mean squat to me!" "You'll be suspended!" "So what? I'll rest!" Etc.)

I'll give an example of one I do like. Titan Power. His whole long-winded but not saying anything important thing in 2138 I loved. I'm a little behind in the main story but that's one thing I can't wait to run with. Side note all the classic Press Conference references here are great and bringing back memories. The first Brymstone Burning press conference was pretty memorable too, Fire shooting out of the ground, Maleph flying around the room, the lights going out and Erebus panting made for a cool read.

For the record I knew the point you were making. That example just amused me. But yea recently the character development has not been involved as much as in the past. Lady Grand Master is one example. To me she feels like Grand Master's girl and that is mostly it. Also group history is done more than the individual like Exo-King and his crew.

One of my favorite press conference moments is 2134 was the return of Godsend. I love Godsend as a character despite somehow never using him in a fed.

I see what you did there, I speak sarcasm. If they were a hive mind, explain the different reactions among the Gladiators present. Forget everyone back on Aethra. Thunder and Thrash held back smiles, while Overkill and the rest were very unamused.
