ANOTHER Great Episode from 3/4s of the UT Gang! It's always fun to hear you guys talk about who worked on whom in each release. Again, great stuff!
----
When I had Promoters over at the house last year, we had a discussion about the Jamestown Tarp Skunks and where the name originated. Tim, Jack (Louden Noxious), & I all commented on needing to get hats with the skunk logo! It will add to my collection of Jamestown ball club hat collection as I have the Jammers' "Bat" & "Grapes" versions and will be the proud owner of a Tarp Skunks hat in June!
-----
Funny story about Carl's Jr./Hardee's...my nephew who grew up in SoCal, was also in the Air Force, and went to Technical School in Biloxi (after I had moved to a different base). I went to see him while he was there and we were driving someplace he saw a Hardee's and commented something like, "Wait a second, what the heck is that place doing with the Carl's Jr. Star logo?" I chuckled and told him they are the same place, just different parts of the country.
I also want to remember hearing that it was Carl's Jr. Corporation that bought Hardee's and they wanted to rename all the locations across the U.S. as "Carl's Jr." but stopped doing so when folks stopped going to the renamed restaurants because they didn't know what the heck Carl's Jr. was and were kinda pissed about a West Coast company buying out a Southern/Eastern favorite. I would have to look that up to confirm, but I remember hearing that a long time ago...
BTW, the Western Bacon Cheeseburger at Carl's Jr./Hardee's is one of the BEST fast-food specialty burgers out there, IMHO!

Thanks for the shoutout about my "retirement" from FG. Well it is a wrestling related retirement, so you know how that usually goes.

You take a break to get yourself sorted and then you return. Always a good thing.
