Was curious how other promoters handle match interferences in their feds. Do you have a random chance for each match to possibly have some one come in an interfere? Is it only in a heated storyline or when your wanting to start one? Whats your methods and reasonings, an inquiring mind wants to know.

No real set rules for me. Usually, it depends on the situation. Factors like who the heel wrestler is, are they with a faction or just share a manager, who their opponent is and where their hatred for each other stands. But sometimes I just do it because the match is in a quagmire and is getting boring with either counter after counter after counter after counter OR because the man on offense cannot get out of 2nd gear and do some real damage. Then the interference can help move things along.

This is what I have come up with if any one is interested in having random but not excessive match interferences
Any time I roll doubles (which isn't terribly often) roll 1d6, on a roll of 6 theres an interference (most likely random unless there is a opportunity for storyline progression) if random depending on if the character is a heel, they will naturally attack/distract the baby face and vice versa. If that doesn't match up then its just a 50/50 who they decide to mess with.

I will usually only roll on Interference during pin attempts. I know Ringside Allies can interfere when the action moves out of the ring but I've never used that option in my years of playing.

It is totally up to you, you can use interference for any matches. I use all heel managers (when I remember) , like Throwingtoasters said usually for a pin save. Unless a match with no one allowed at ringside. But if somoene came out and helped someone like say Bobby Heenan for Ravishing Rick Rude. It would help a storyline grow, punishment for Heenan maybe a match v Rick Rude's opponent on next card etc.
