The Crime Stoppers: Skull and Killers Four Ride Again

- They were wrong.


They said it should not be done.

- They were...um, well maybe they were right about that. Yet it was done anyways.



It is finally here. The exciting ending to one of the story lines in comics history. The first issue in this 6 part mini-series will be dropping soon. But before that for those that forgot where we left off or missed the One Shot of Skull Special Delivery - Limited Edition it will be rereleased later today in an unlimited edition. The original story has been trimmed down some but covers the import parts. Of course it does not have the super uber special silver foil cover with Skull hologram but it has all the action and intrigue of the Limited Edition. That is to say not too much but some. Either way I hope you have enjoyed the journey and a thousand thanks for following along.

Issue 1: All Good Things Must Come to An End. Bads Ones Too.


A quick recap of the ending to the Skull Special Delivery One Shot where Skull brought who he thought was Avenging Force from another dimension, but it was really Star Warrior. Then we start with what is going on now.


Star Warrior: I think it would be best if I turned you over to the local authorities. Come with me while I find them.

Skull: Are you crazy?

Star Warrior: No. Of course not. I am a bit confused on where I am, but I still know right from wrong.

Skull: Well, I am not going with you. I have spent enough time in jail. See you later.


As Skull tries to walk off Star Warrior tries to place his hand on Skull's shoulder which of course is not there, so he just grabs Skull. With that the fight is on.


Star Warrior vs Skull

Skull was overconfident as the battle began and it cost him. Star Warrior was all over him. He used flying dropkicks and what he calls a Running Star Blast to knock Skull senseless. Star Warrior climbed on a wooden crate and flew off with a Nova Launch. He tried to drag Skull off after that, but Skull still had a bit of fight left in him. Star Warrior used a second Nova Launch to take care of that.

Winner: Star Warrior


Star Warrior was working to take Skull off to find authorities when in a way authorities arrived on their own in the form of The Crime Stoppers.

Sunman: We will take him off your hands.

Blue Dazzler: The question of course is, who are you?

Star Warrior: I am Star Warrior. From what I understand from this heel is he brought me here from another dimension.

Cosmic Woman: Hmm, this could be an interesting problem to solve. It would be best if you come with us. We will drop Skull off at the jail and head to our headquarters to start working on it.


The Crime Stoppers and Star Warrior return to The Crime Stoppers home and Command Center to find a couple bags on the stoop by the front door. Sitting on them is Buster.


Cosmic Woman: Well, look who has returned. I guess your time has been served.

Buster: Ah, yea. I am free once again. I...I did not know where to go.

Speedster: You did harm to this group. But you did make up for it. You can bunk with me if no one has a problem with that.

Glances are exchanged between The Crime Stoppers, but no one says anything.

Star Warrior: Who is this young...male?

Sunman: His name is Buster. He has history with us. We can cover that over dinner. Let's go to the kitchen everyone and get started on a meal.


A bit later The Crime Stoppers, Star Warrior and Buster are sitting around the dinner table finishing up their meal and discussing what they know about how Star Warrior arrived in this dimension. Sunman looks down at his wrist communicator.

Sunman: You have to be kidding me.

Blue Dazzler: What's wrong?

Sunman: Those morons at the jail not only let Skull escape but he was able to break out the Killers Four. I swear I do not even know why we bother putting them away. They just find a way to get free.

Cosmic Woman: The problem is Skull. The Killers Four had been locked up for some time with no signs of being able to escape.

Star Warrior: Killers Four? Why do I have the feeling with a name like that, they are not good people.

Speedster: You got that right. They are horrible people and the gang that Skull put together to do his dirty work. There is The Thinker, The Hunter, The Untouchable and The Freeze.

Sunman: This means dinner is officially over and the getting to know each other will have to wait. The Crime Stoppers need to go and gather Skull and his henchmen up.

Star Warrior: I would like to join you if that is ok.

Cosmic Woman: Sure. We can use all the help we can get.

Sunman: Let's go team.



Where will The Crime Stoppers and Star Warrior find Skull and the Killers Four? How will The Crimestoppers return Star Warrior to his dimension? Most important, what were they going to have for dessert and will it last till they return? All of these questions, well most of them, will be answered in our next pulse-pounding issue of The Crime Stoppers: Skull and Killers Four Ride Again.

Issue 2: Every time you think you are out...



As The Crime Stoppers and Star Warrior are about to take off after Skull and the Killers Four, Sunman notices the smart watch on Star Warrior's wrist.

Sunman: I am curious about your world Star Warrior. Do they have things there like we have here? Like Big Kahuna Burgers, Walley World or online superstore Amazing?

Star Warrior: No. No, I cannot say I have heard of any of those things.

Sunman: Hmm, interesting.

Blue Dazzler: Is this really the time for an inquiry of the difference between our worlds?

Sunman: Perhaps not. Just wanted to figure something out. But it can wait. For now, let's go catch those scoundrels.


The Crime Stoppers have separated to go in different directions looking for Skull and Killers Four. Speedster was the first to discover them. He was about to call in for reinforcements when he is attacked by The Thinker.


Speedster vs The Thinker

The Thinker got the jump on the youngster. He battered him some then tried to put him to sleep with a sleeper hold. Speedster fought out of the hold and then started to run circles around The Thinker. While The Thinker is a smart man, he did not have time to come up with a new game plan or figure out how to counter what Speedster was doing. Speedster finally knocked him out with some High Octane Kicks.

Winner: Speedster


After defeating The Thinker, Speedster looked for the rest of the evil gang, but they had run away during his skirmish with The Thinker.


Meanwhile, in another part of town Blue Dazzler caught The Untouchable trying to hold up a check cashing place. Blue Dazzler told him to put his hands up and surrender. What should come as a surprise to no one he ignored the orders and instead rushed at Blue Dazzler.


Blue Dazzler vs The Untouchable

The Untouchable was all over Blue Dazzler for several minutes. Blue Dazzler took the beating and made a hot comeback. Blue Dazzler kept using his Optic Blinder to weaken The Untouchable. It seemed The Untouchable's protective energy shield was not helping him. After a Crime Stoppers Splash it was a solid upper cut from Blue Dazzler that had The Untouchable reeling. One more Optic Blinder finished The Untouchable off.

Winner: Blue Dazzler


Blue Dazzler brought The Untouchable to the jail. He finds Speedster has dropped off The Thinker. Then they are joined by Cosmic Woman who has captured The Freeze. The three get a call to head back to the Command Center.


At the Command Center, The Crime Stoppers are gathered along with Star Warrior.

Sunman: We have searched everywhere but no sign of Skull. It is like he and The Hunter have disappeared into thin air.

Blue Dazzler: At least we were able to roundup The Thinker, The Untouchable and The Freeze and put them back in the slammer.

Sunman: True but we cannot rest with Skull still out there. There are mysteries to solve.

He looks over at Star Warrior.

Sunman: Many mysteries.



Where has Skull disappeared to? What could he be up to? What is Sunman's deal with Star Warrior? Does he want a smart watch of his own? Perhaps we get some answers in Issue 3: I Am What I Am

Fun stuff. I love the Pulp Fiction and Vacation references you threw in there.

I suspect Star Warrior may have ulterior motives and shouldn't be trusted. I guess I'll have to stay tuned to find out.

Issue 3: I Am What I am



The Crime Stoppers and Star Warrior are seen scouring the city for Skull and The Hunter. Meanwhile, Buster is in a grocery store picking up items for The Crime Stoppers as part of the chores he does to pay them back for their support.

Buster leaves the store and is walking down the sidewalk with his bags. He walks past a shadowy alley when someone grabs him and yanks him into it. It is the man The Crime Stoppers are looking for...Skull.


A police report goes out about a break in at a medical supply warehouse. Sunman sends Speedster to investigate it. When Speedster arrives, he sees a big truck pulled up to one of the loading bays and sees The Hunter loading items into the truck.

Speedster: Stop you cheap hood.

The Hunter: You must not be talking about me. I am anything but cheap.

He grabs a canister of oxygen and throws it at Speedster. The young hero is able to move out of the way without sustaining any damage.


Speedster vs The Hunter

Speedster rushed at The Hunter and tried to knock him out with a forearm smash. The Hunter did not even flinch. The big man applied the Hunter's Claw and Speedster struggled. The young man refused to go down easy so The Hunter tried to beat him with an Ambush! but that did not work. The Hunter kept the pressure on and used a running elbow. It blasted Speedster and his lights went out.

Winner: The Hunter


The Hunter: You are lucky I have things to do, and I am behind schedule you little punk. Otherwise, I would have your head mounted on the wall in my cabin.


Meanwhile, back in the alley Skull is glaring at Buster.

Skull: So, you have decided to become a goody two-shoes and work with The Crime Stoppers huh.

Buster: No, I have not.

Skull: Ah, so you are still loyal to me and are secretly getting intel that will help me defeat them.

Buster: Not that either, Skull. I am only looking out for myself. If there is one thing I have learned in my short life is the only one that cares about me is me. I have to look out for myself. I am neither good nor evil. Just a survivor.

Before anything else can be said Buster reaches into one of his bags, pulls out a can of whipped cream and sprays it in Skull's face. He takes off running and is long gone by the time Skull has cleaned his face so he can see again.


The Crime Stoppers, minus Speedster, are in the Command Center.

Blue Dazzler: Where is Speedster?

Sunman: A better question is where is Star Warrior?

As if on cue he walks in.

Star Warrior: Are you looking for me?

By way of answer Sunman slugs him.


A call from The Hunter to Skull.

Skull: Yes? Yes? Good, good. My plan is working perfectly. Just a stop to the pauper's graveyard and we will be all set.



Why did Sunman slug Star Warrior? Why is Skull going to the pauper's graveyard? What sinister plans is he putting into motion? Don't hold your breath till you find out. It will not be long till you find out but longer than you can hold your breath. Trust us.

Issue 4: Just watch what happens now



A quick recap of the ending of the last issue leading to a fight between Sunman and Star Warrior that has The Crime Stoppers in shock.


Sunman vs Star Warrior

Sunman, thanks to the sucker punch, had an early advantage in their fight. Once Star Warrior was able to recover a bit and realize what was going on he started to fight back. He flung Sunman around the main room in the Command Center. He used hard-hitting offense as he tried to end the scirmish. He stood on the Meeting Conference Table and dove off with a Nova Launch. It took a lot out of Sunman but not enough. So, Star Warrior quickly jumped on the control panel and hit another Nova Launch. That seemed to do the job. As it was, The Crime Stoppers decided to become fight stoppers as they came over to separate the two men.

Winner: Star Warrior


Cosmic Woman: What was that all about?

Star Warrior: I apologize but he started it. He sucker punched me. I had to defend myself.

Cosmic Woman: I do not debate that. It is the sucker punch I am wondering about.

Sunman: (Starting to get his senses back after the battle) There is something off about him. (Points toward Star Warrior) He says there is no Amazing in his dimension, yet he is wearing an Amazing smart watch. He is a liar and maybe even working with Skull.

The Crime Stoppers turn to look at Star Warrior.

Blue Dazzler: Is that true? Are you working with Skull?

Star Warrior: No, of course not. I told you I first met him when he dragged me into your dimension.

Cosmic Woman: What about that watch?

Star Warrior: (looking down at his watch) This? It actually has a strange story. These weird boxes appeared around my city. Some reports said that people saw some of the boxes appear out of nowhere. This watch was in one of them.

Sunman: You expect us to believe your story?

Blue Dazzler: It may not be a made-up story. We know the machine Skull used to bring Star Warrior to our dimension was property of Amazing. They were trying to use it to send packages from their factory to guests.

Sunman: They did practice runs and their items ended up in his dimension.

Star Warrior: (slaps his forehead) I can be so dense sometimes. The boxes did say Amazing on them. I am so sorry.

Sunman: (getting to his feet and offering his hand to Star Warrior) No. I am the one who is sorry. I should have talked to you more before attacking you. Can you forgive me?

Star Warrior: (takes Sunman's hand and shakes it) Of course. I can see where you were coming from.

A voice says, "I am not sure if I will forgive you so easily". It is Speedster.

Cosmic Woman: Speedster. Where have you been?

Speedster: I found The Hunter at the warehouse break in, and we fought. He knocked me out and escaped.

Sunman: Wow I am really messing up lately. I was so focused on Skull and Star Warrior that I did not do what a leader should always do. Watch out for his team. I do owe you an apology.

Speedster: (glares at Sunman then a smile breaks out) Ah, how can I stay made at you. Besides, we need to figure what Skull is up to. Why did The Hunter steal items from the medical supply warehouse?


What of Skull's plans? He is with The Hunter at the pauper's graveyard. The Hunter has dug up a grave and Skull peers down into it.

Skull: Oh yes. He will do perfectly. What a specimen. Tall. Muscular. He looks like he will be a monster when I am done with him. And unlike that giant lizard I will be able to control this one. He will do my bidding.

Issue 5: It's alive



The Crime Stoppers have Speedster take a medical exam. He has a possible concussion, so Sunman puts him on the bench. Then they split up to search the city for Skull and The Hunter.


Blue Dazzler gets a call on his wrist communicator to meet the police down by the docks. He goes there only to find out it was a trap.

Skull: Ah, you superhero types are so easy to manipulate.

Blue Dazzler: Give it up Skull. You cannot beat me.

Skull: Oh, I could beat you. If I wanted to. But I do not have to battle you. My newest creation will. I give you...Perfect Creation One.

A large, hulking man stomps his way out from behind a large boat that is on the docks for repairs like Frankenstein's monster.


Blue Dazzler vs PCO

Both men rush at each other and hit a clothesline sending them both crashing onto the ground. Perfect Creation One was the first to get to his feet. He proceeded to beat down on Blue Dazzler. But Blue Dazzler was no normal man either and he started to put PCO on his heels. When it seemed like Blue Dazzler could not do damage to PCO on his own he used whatever he could get his hands on. First, he found an oar and smashed it over PCO's back. The oar shattered into half with many splinters flying. It did not slow PCO down much, so next Dazzler grabbed a heavy anchor on a chain. He swung it and sent the anchor slamming into PCO's stomach. It made him take a step back before he went back to walking toward Dazzler. Then Dazzler took the chain and wrapped it around PCO's neck. He tried choking PCO. He bent forward and yanked on the chain pulling PCO onto his back. Then Dazzler used Optic Blinder a few times. Finally, it was enough to lay out PCO.

Winner: Blue Dazzler


After the fight Dazzler looked around for Skull but he had slipped away once again. Dazzler wrapped some chain around PCO to keep him tied up so he could take off after Skull.


On a busy street Star Warrior is riding a motorcycle he borrowed from The Crime Stoppers as he searches for Skull and The Hunter. That is when he is ambushed by the latter. He and the cycle go skidding. He then gets to his feet in time to meet The Hunter head on.


Star Warrior vs The Hunter

A brutal match that sent civilians running for safety. The Hunter slammed Star Warrior onto a car's windshield that shattered it. Star Warrior fought back and sent The Hunter crashing into a parking meter. The men slugged it out for several minutes. The end came when Star Warrior climbed on top of a city bus and flew off hitting a cross body block. That took the air and fight out of The Hunter.

Winner: Star Warrior


Sunman flies in and helps Star Warrior put binds on The Hunter before handing him over to the police. Then they return to the Command Center.

Speedster: Welcome back. You need to read this.

He goes to hand Sunman a note.

Sunman: What is it?

Speedster: A goodbye letter from Buster. He thanks us for helping him and believing in him. But he needs to go and find his path in life.

Sunman: Hmm. I will miss the little scamp. I wish the best for him.

Soon Blue Dazzler and Cosmic Woman return. When Dazzler tells them about his battle with PCO and how Skull escaped him Sunman sends Cosmic Woman to go pick PCO up.

Sunman: We need to find Skull and end his reign of terror once and for all. I think I know how we can do that too.

Issue 6: There's no place like home



Cosmic Woman arrives at the docks only to find that PCO escaped from the chains he was wrapped in. Where did he go?


Back at the Command Center Sunman and Blue Dazzler are working their computers.

Blue Dazzler: I found where there was a large power usage during the time Star Warrior said he arrived in this dimension. It is possible that is where the transporter is.

Sunman: Good. Hopefully Skull will return there to get it. (He turns toward Star Warrior) You understand the plan? You are sure you are ok with it?

Star Warrior: Yes, I do. I think it is the best way to go. I am onboard.

Sunman: Good. Let's go and get this done once and for all.


Luckly for Cosmic Woman PCO left a path of destruction when he left the docks. It did not take long for her to find him.


Cosmic Woman vs PCO

The beast hit a pair of pop up powerbombs on Cosmic Woman. It was not enough to keep her down. Soon she was fighting back. Yet, every big move she hit PCO with seemed to barely faze him. Cosmic Woman hit the monster with Shooting Stars, Cosmic Energy Bursts and cross body blocks. PCO would go down and almost right after start to get back up. It was a Superwoman Punch that seemed to finally rock him. He looked slower after that. She kept the heat on with a Big Bang. Cosmic Woman was on fire and yet another Shooting Star was able to finally put PCO down and keep him there.

Winner: Cosmic Woman


After the fight she made a call and Blue Dazzler showed up to help her take PCO into custody. Instead of a jail they took him to a government facility where they could study him but most important, keep him in custody to make sure he does no more damage.


Sunman and Star Warrior show up at a large warehouse. They carefully sneak in and sure enough they find Skull inside. He is working on the Amazing transporter.

Sunman: OK. I will take him into custody. If I fail, it will be up to you to do what I could not.

Star Warrior: I understand.

A charge by Sunman that caught Skull off guard.


Sunman vs Skull

A very determined Sunman took the fight to Skull and did not take his foot off the gas. He started to make headway with a Blistering Face Claw which was the perfect match to deal with someone like Skull. A Heat Wave did a lot of damage and Sunman went to end things with Fire In The Sky. He nailed it and Skull was done for.

Winner: Sunman


As Star Warrior kept an eye on Skull to make sure he did not recover enough to be trouble Sunman started working with the settings on the transporter.

Sunman: OK. All set. We really appreciate you doing this.

Star Warrior: My pleasure. It seems the best for our world, so I am happy to do it.

Sunman: We are in your debt. Hopefully we can come and visit your dimension one day. Until then, stay safe and best of luck to you.

Star Warrior: Same to you, my friend.

With that Star Warrior takes Skull over to the platform of the transporter. Sunman presses some buttons and both Star Warrior and Skull slowly fade away.



Epilogue:


The Crime Stoppers are gathered in the Command Center.

Cosmic Woman: Things sure will be different without having to worry about Skull and what nasty plan he is working on.

Blue Dazzler: Not to mention the Killers Four should be in prison for a long time without him to break them out.

Speedster: I am going to miss Buster and Star Warrior.

Sunman: A toast to our friends. May they find happiness and may our paths cross with theirs one day again.

Everyone raises their glasses.
