$450 to make life better is not too bad. Hopefully they get working on that ramp soon and finish it with no issues. I talked to the ramp guy today. The reason for the delay is because when he came to the house for measurements, Mom was hesitant about getting one. She thinks she can walk and doesn't need it. I told him that we do need it, and hopefully it will be installed within the next 2 weeks. BTW, Mom has since come around to the idea of having a ramp. I know she'll be glad we have it once we start using it. |

I wish we could get a ramp....at some point we're likely going to switch apartments because of stairs. Glad your mom is coming around to the ramp.

If your mom says she doesn't need a ramp just tell her it's for you. Best to get it now before you need it lol  |

Got the knee brace on Thursday!
It's a wrap around with a strap, so it's not complicated.
Strap can be adjusted depending on if she has less pain or more pain.

Ramp was installed yesterday!
Hopefully, we never have to use it for a wheelchair, but we have it if we need it.
Mom can use her walker on it when I have to take her to appointments, so we don't have to mess with steps any more!

Excellent. That should simplify things and make it safer for your mother. Glad to hear she came around to the ramp idea.
Hopefully things continue to get better. Hang in there and keep those dice rolling whenever you get a chance.🙂
