As part of our annual Double or Nothing Weekend here in Las Vegas where we have multiple great shows booked throughout the weekend leding to Double or Nothing on Sunday, after FSW, I went to this show tonight.
This show was so awesome! I love the Dive Bar (I have seen many great punk bands play there) and I love deathmatch wrestling, so seeing Deathmatch wrestling at the Dive Bar is an example of how sometimes life just simply can not get any better (it really can't!)
There has been less lightubes and glass overall used in deathmatch wrestling the previous past few months (for example none used at all at The Collective last month in Philadelphia) as my understanding is the lighttubes typically used for deathmatch wrestling are no longer getting produced as much due to climate change issues. However there were many lightubes and lightube bundles used tonight so while standing ringside I had to cover my eyes and my open beer bottles (I two-fisted a little tonight on beer so I did not have to go back to the bar) while shards of glass flew my way lol. My favorite match tonight was the death tag match between Blood Fighter (Alex Colon and Judge Joe Dred) and Wicked Scumbags. I also really liked the barbed wire ropes main event between John Wayne Murdoch (who told me he liked my shirt which was a shirt I bought from him previously at GCW in Los Angeles) and Otis Cogar.
Afterward, I talked to the promoter of Marks R Us who said he wants to make deatmatch wrestling a regular event in Las Vegas (their previous show was way back in October at the Nerd Bar) and I bought their Marks R Us shirt (I am going to wear it at Galacticon next month!)

Last night at Marks R Us, there was broken glass and thumbtacks flying everywhere and all over the floor of the Dive Bar. I just looked at my shoes and I have 8 thumbtacks stuck to the bottom of them from last night.
I am glad I went to this show last night at the Dive Bar instead of the Dolph Ziggler comedy hour and midget wrestling double header at the Nerd Bar (although I did see midget wrestling at the Nerd Bar on Thursday night as midget wrestling is starting a residency at the Nerd Bar.)
I drank too much at the Dive Bar last night as the beers were cheap. I won't be drinking much today though as the beers at the MGM Grand garden where Collision is happening cost almost twice as much as they do at the Dive Bar.
