Chuck Taylors career over. (Not A Work New Report Today) After losing a parking lot brawl against former tag team partner Trent Beretta, it was claimed by Trent that Chuck Taylor’s career was over, with many assuming it was all part of the story (a work) . However, it seems that’s not the case and Taylor’s career has legitimately ended. A report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that what was said on AEW TV regarding Taylor’s injury is accurate, with AEW lead announcer Excalibur revealing that due to the nature of his ankle fracture and the presence of ‘necrosis of the bone’ in fragments underneath the cartilage, Chuckie T’s injury is likely career-ending. Meltzer noted that AEW has a whole host of stars on the roster who have suffered career-ending injuries only to return later down the road, with Adam Copeland, Saraya, Bryan Danielson, and Katsuyori Shibata all eventually working their way back into in-ring competition. However, sources state that even with surgery it’s more than likely that Taylor won’t be able to come back. ‘The Kentucky Gentleman’ has been with AEW since its foundation, and was previously a stand-out on the independent scene, most notably with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and CHIKARA, with Taylor reigning as a two-time PWG World Champion in the former promotion

One of my all-time favorites, along with Jay Lethal, Christopher Daniels and the Briscoe brothers. You forgot one of his FG cards jimsteel , and we can't forget F.I.S.T. His original B&W card is not online.

Always loved watching Chuck Taylor, such a shame his career will have come to an end quite suddenly. There's still a small part of me that hopes he and AEW have just done a really good job of working people here

I would say never say never. Only due to medical advances change what is possible all the time. That being said it is likely he is done. As a wrestler. If AEW is smart they will use him as a manager. If not, I hope TNA is smart enough to go grab him if he becomes available. IMO, he has Bobby Heenan manager potential. Don't get any higher in my eyes.
