McMahon ran the Northeast side of professional wrestling, was stepping aside as the owner of the once-great promotion, the World Wrestling Federation and ran a tradition. His son, Vincent K. McMahon takes over the WWF and turns the promotion into a balconies, cartoon circus with his own goofball character and pushed out tradition until now, the old universe dead and gone, the current and new universe is in.....WE'RE BACK!!!

- Pulsar Prime made Adrian Adonis submit to the Whirlwind.

- Bob Backlund pinned Gorilla Monsoon with the Atomic Drop.

- Big John Studd pinned Pulsar Prime with the Big Elbow Drop.

(FINALS)
- Bob Backlund pinned Big John Studd when Backlund hooked Studd's legs after a botched sunset flip to win the title.
