The last of the new additions to DBTV sees GCW kicking things off with the Nick Gage Invitational tournament, as eight men battle to prove who is the best deathmatch wrestler on the independent scene.
Gage will seek to stamp himself on the competition when he faces Jimmy Lloyd in the first round, while Markus Crane and Matt Tremont - fresh from his firing by CZW - will battle it out. PCO seeks to carve out a new niche for himself against Danny Havoc, and the first round is completed by Hoodfoot facing a man who impressed Gage in one on one competition at CZW's Proving Grounds back in May of Year 2 on DBTV, Orin Veidt.
As well as deathmatch action, Los Macizos will battle it out with Violence is Forever, and we'll see a four way match between Jordon Oliver, Alec Price, Tony Deppen and Billie Starkz.

Nick Gage Invitational I August - Week 3 - Year 2 Commentary: Dave Prazak and Emil Jay
First Round Nick Gage def. Jimmy Lloyd by pinfall A chaotic opener to kick things off. The match starts with the pair stapling dollars to each other, but soon Gage is the one just repeatedly stapling money to Lloyd's head and chest. Eventually, after a wild brawl, Gage spears Lloyd through a pane of glass, wields his pizza cutter to give Lloyd a thick crimson mask and then lands a piledriver into the shards of glass and light tube that cover the canvas.
First Round Orin Veidt def. Hoodfoot by pinfall A big win for Veidt, but not before both find themselves being hurled through numerous doors. Hoodfoot launches himself off the top rope to try and take out Veidt, who dodges him and that sees Hoodfoot come crashing down through a stack of light tubes and get pinned.
First Round Danny Havoc def. PCO by pinfall PCO starts strong and jams skewers into Havoc's head. But this rallies Havoc, who wins after landing repeated suicide dives with light tubes in his hands and then hitting Total Havoc.
First Round Markus Crane def. Matt Tremont by pinfall A tough few weeks for Tremont, having not long been fired by CZW. Crane knocks him out in the first round with a crucifix bomb through a pane of glass.
Billie Starkz def. Jordan Oliver, Alec Price and Tony Deppen by pinfall A superb match, Billie wins with the swanton on Oliver.
Semi final Orin Veidt def. Nick Gage by pinfall Veidt earned Gage's respect last time they fought through his resilience, this time he manages to get the win. Veidt controls the match, putting Gage through doors in each corner of the ring. In desperation, Gage jabs a syringe through Veidt's nose, but this just angers Veidt more, grabbing a weed whacker to use on him and then winning with Total Anarchy. Post match, Gage is helped to his feet by Veidt. The two shake hands, and Gage tells him to win the whole f'ing thing now! The crowd go wild.
Semi final Markus Crane def. Danny Havoc by pinfall Crane also dominates this one, putting Havoc through glass, stapling dollars to him as he drags him around the venue, jamming skewers into his head and then winning with the reverse butterfly.
Los Macizos def. Violence is Forever by pinfall Ciclope wins with a Mexican Double Stomp on Kevin Ku.
Final Orin Veidt def. Markus Crane by pinfall Nick Gage joins commentary and speaks highly about these two being the future of deathmatch wrestling for GCW. Both are bloody and battered by the end. The take a savage bump from scaffolding to the ring, through several panes of glass. Veidt wins when he lands an assault driver on Crane through a flaming door. Gage goes to the ring to congratulate Veidt on his big win. As the crowd chant his name, Gage smashes him in the back of the head with a steel chair. Markus Crane desperately crawls to try and help Veidt and Jimmy Lloyd comes to the ring to try and stop the attack, but Danny Havoc and Matt Tremont attack them. Gage stands over Veidt with a mic in hand, telling him he should have known his place, that Crane should have known his place. He says there's no need for the future of deathmatch wrestling, because the present is nowhere near over.

Alec Price def. Jordan Oliver by pinfall A superb match, both really get to shine here. Price picks up the win with a springboard tornado DDT.
Orin Veidt and Jimmy Lloyd come to the ring. Orin says if it wasn't for Nick Gage he wouldn't be here in GCW today, but that does not allow him to take liberties and use younger guys like them to try and prove he is still relevant. Lloyd says there can be no future of deathmatch wrestling, when the past casts a long shadow over them, and if they must go to war then so be it! Gage and Matt Tremont come to the ring. Gage says he doesn't follow any rules and he does what he wants, when he wants. He says the only reason there is deathmatch wrestling for Veidt and Lloyd to come into is because of people like Gage and Tremont. Tremont tells Lloyd that if it's a war he wants, then it's a war he's got.
Deathmatch Matt Tremont def. Orin Veidt by pinfall Tremont means business here. He repeatedly stabs Veidt's head with a fork, puts him through a door and piledrives him from the ring apron to the floor. Eddie Kingston def. Akira by pinfall A stiff by incredible brawl here, which the crowd are so invested in. Akira is taking it to Kingston, having won a chop battle against him, but then Kingston lands a spinning backfist out of nowhere and knocks Akira out momentarily.
James Storm def. Nick Gage by pinfall A real exhibition of a main event here. Gage pauses as he holds the pizza cutter to Storm's head, which allows Storm to smash a beer bottle over the head of Gage and win with Last Call. As the two shake hands in the ring, Danny Havoc drags a bloodied Markus Crane from the back to the ring, Storm quickly rolls out confused as Gage and Havoc beat Crane down and use the pizza cutter on him as he squeals like a pig.
