Classic Texas Death Matches were not weapons-fests--they were tests of endurance and stamina.

I'm assuming based on your description that you're looking for a No-Disqualification Match for this Texas Death Match, as the typical rules of the game represent. But given that vintage wrestlers are involved, I could see using the Alley Fight Match that's in the Ringside Companion. It's based off the real-life Texas Death Match, at least the style where it's multiple falls and it's a battle of endurance, as CanadianPitbull and Pete described. You could still use any of the names that others have mentioned in this thread. But I could see vintage wrestlers battling it out in a longer match like this. Hope that helps! |

That sounds like an idea. For a name, I was going to use Ungentlemanly Conduct Match, but Alley Fight seems to work better. But instead of falls, it’ll just be elimination rules. |
