Growing up in WWWF territory, I always loved watching CWF when we'd visit my grandparents for a couple of weeks each December in its Heyday.

As I'm a big Bob Roop fan, I love seeing him put away Uncle Ivan.
I won't wish list too much but oh to get Buddy Colt into Legends.

Not to hijack the thread but I drive by the actual 106 N Albany all the time. I always tell my wife everytime I'm with her what that place once was and she just rolls her eyes like a heel. I know she knows, but I like to annoy her with it lol

Championship Wrestling from Florida Card #4
- Interview -
Gordon Solie and Buddy Colt at the desk...
Solie: "Hello friends. We have an exciting show for you this evening. Blackjack Mulligan will be in singles action as well as Koloff & Saito facing Windham & Rotundo."
Colt: "But he big story is the tournament to crown the first ever NWA Florida Heavyweight Champion."
Solie: "Yes. Tonight is the start of the 8-man tournament. Our first two matchups are amazing, to say the least. In the first matchup, Hiro Matsuda will face Wahoo McDaniel. That, my friends, is a main event caliber match. Not to be outdone, the second matchup will pit Jack Brisco versus Bobby Shane!"
Colt: "And next week we have two more tournament matches... Eddie Graham versus Harley Race and Bob Roop versus Johnny Valentine. Wow. These next two weeks are gonna be amazing."
Solie: "We also got word that the winner of the NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship will earn a title shot against NWA World Heavyweight Champion Lou Thesz! Mercy, things are heating up here in Tampa. Stay tuned folks... the action begins in a moment."
- Tag Team Match -
Ivan Koloff & Mr. Saito vs. Barry Windham & Mike Rotundo ended when Ivan Koloff defeated Barry Windham with a RUSSIAN SICKLE
Match Notes: In this opening contest, Koloff & Saito continued their hot streak by beating the inexperienced Windham & Rotunda. Saito punished Mike Rotunda early while Koloff waited for a tag. After Koloff was tagged in, he quickly tossed Rotunda to the floor. Rotunda crawled back into the ring where he made the tag. Windham hit the ring, ready to fight, only to be crushed by a well-timed RUSSIAN SICKLE! Solid win for Koloff & Saito.
- Tournament Singles Match -
Hiro Matsuda defeated Wahoo McDaniel with a quick roll-up and pin!
Match Notes: Hiro Matsuda advances as he exploited a mistake on Wahoo's part to get the win. Wahoo was in charge and set Matsuda up in the corner for a running lariat. At the last moment Matsuda moved and Wahoo's head hit the ring post. Matsuda quickly rolled up Wahoo for the pin. After the match, Wahoo refused to shake Matsuda's hand and left in disgust. I'm not sure, but I think there is some bad blood between these two...
- Singles Match -
Bob Orton Jr defeated Blackjack Mulligan with a press slam backbreaker
Match Notes: This was a tough, hard-hitting match. Both men wore each other out... both in and out of the ring! After Orton slammed Mulligans head off the ring apron, he tossed Mulligan back into the ring and delivered a press slam backbreaker to get the win. Impressive move by Orton on a man the size of Mulligan.
- Tournament Singles Match -
Jack Brisco defeated Bobby Shane with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK
Match Notes: Jerry Brisco looked strong as he controlled most of this match. After hitting a gut-wrench backbreaker, he locked in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and got Shane to tap. As Shane limped to the back, Brisco celebrated with his brother Jerry in the ring. Nice win.

Gordon Solie and Buddy Colt at the desk...
Solie: "Welcome fans to what looks to be a great night of wrestling. We have two more first round NWA Florida Heavyweight Championship Tournament matches. You'll see Bob Roop take on Johnny Valentine and Eddie Graham square off against Harley Race."
Colt: "And, if that's not enough, The Blonde Bombers will be in action. Should be a night to remember..."
Solie: "Yeah, I can't wait for these tournament matches. Fans... don't go away!
- Singles Match -
Don Muraco defeated Mike Rotundo with a HAWAIIAN HAMMER
Match Notes: This was an awesome opening match. Both men were evenly matched. Muraco matched Rotunda move for move, both delivering standing dropkicks, piledrivers and swinging neckbreakers. In the end, Mike Rotunda missed a top rope elbow smash. As he staggered to his feet, Muraco hit his finisher, the HAWAIIAN HAMMER, and got the hard-fought win!
- Tournament Singles Match -
Bob Roop defeated Johnny Valentine with a SHOULDER BREAKER
Match Notes: This was a one-sided match as Johnny Valentine had no answer to Bob Roop's power moves. Roop hit a suplex, gutwrench backbreaker and body slam to weaken Valentine. As Valentine was trying to recover, Roop hit his SHOULDER BREAKER to seal the victory! Roop was too much for Valentine this night.
- Tag Team Match -
Eric the Red and Thunderbolt Patterson vs. The Blonde Bombers ended as Eric the Red was disqualified Match Notes: This match broke down early as Eric the Red and Pat Patterson to the fight to the floor. Eric the Red was disqualified for using a chair on Patterson. Patterson got his revenge as the two were separated. Patterson busted Eric open with a stiff right hand. CWF officials kept the mele from getting worse.
-Tournament Singles Match -
Harley Race defeated Eddie Graham with a PILEDRIVER
Match Notes: This was a classic match between two veterans. Eddie Graham started off strong, but Race countered a back elbow smash and delivered his back suplex followed by a crushing backbreaker. As if sensing victory, Race hit his PILEDRIVER and got the 1, 2... 3! Race advances!
- Interview -
Gordon Solie at the desk:

I've delved into the CWF a bit and it was pretty cool, so I've been following your results and I'm loving it...
