ESPN posted a story about this. www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/40402955/what-winningest-regions-sportsHere are the numbers they have. NY/NJ: 57 Boston: 40 Los Angeles: 34* Chicago: 29 Detroit: 25 Montreal: 25 I feel Boston wins as they only have one team per sport. NY/NJ and Los Angeles should almost be halved to get a real number due to their multiple teams. I give a pass on Chicago with only a second baseball team that as we know has not been good for decades beyond one year. Props to Montreal making the list based on JUST their hockey team. Their CFL team, should be included as their version of NFL, has won 10 titles. Their number would be 35 of course. Still behind Boston.

Better than LA though and that's quite impressive. Montreal should totally get CFL titles added. Expos might have added another if not for the 94 shutdown.
Of course NY also gets to count NJ which while not a massive jump (since it's almost entirely NFL) still shows favoritism.

Well either way you slice it, NY/NJ, or just NY their region has at least two teams in each of the four sports. I totally forgot about the Expos. I am sure I am not the only one and that includes some of their fans lol.
