I don't usually post on the Legends boards, but I just had to say I'm crazy excited about seeing the one and only ROB VAN DAM! join the ranks of the LOW. Oh man, you guys just bagged pretty much my favorite wrestler of this generation. Great job!
In the past I have loved to collect bootleg cards as much as anyone, and one of my favorite old school sites was Champions and Legends, featuring pretty fair stats for legendary wrestlers of the 20th century. The same guy did the art and had done quite a bit of fan-created card art as well. Somebody remind me what this gentleman's name was, I remembered for a long time, but no longer carry it with me. Anyway, short story long, never do official GWF characters and fan-created bootlegs mix. Nor have I ever been fond of bringing wrestlers from the 20th century into play with their future counterparts. Even my own creations follow these rules. But the one exception I made was for a young man from 20th century Michigan. I threw him in a time machine and RVD had a stint in my X-Treme Dimension X league. The card was from the Champions and Legends site, and was a well-drawn with stacked but nevertheless realistic card stats. RVD just dominates like that.
