Happy July 4th, everyone! Be sure to stay safe around fireworks if it's legal for you to light 'em (only sparklers are legal up here in MA, unfortunately)! And don't forget to wish neilybob a Happy Belated Birthday! Okay now, everyone with me... Todd C WTIC

I hope everybody has a fun and safe Fourth.
This year I am actually spending the Fourth in the Boston area where the American Revolution began.

Happy 4th to all. Happy belated birthday to neilybob It is raining here in central FL which does not bother me. Just means fewer booming fireworks by the amateurs later tonight while I try and relax after work. U S A U S A U S A U S eh (had to throw one in for our Canadian friends like paul )

I turned on NBC to see the fireworks from NYC and all NBC is showing is commercials for their shows and a bit of AGT. What gives? Weather report seems to show good weather in NYC.

U S A U S A U S A U S eh (had to throw one in for our Canadian friends like paul ) The whole "eh" thing must be an Eastern Canada thing as I've only heard the occasional person say it out here on the West Coast. However, a few years ago my aunt & uncle along with his brother & wife came out here from Ontario for a cruise up to Alaska. They dropped by our place the day before the cruise for a visit and my uncle's brother used the expression around 15-20 times during those three hours COMPLETE with the stereotypical Canadian accent.
