Hey Guys,
It's been more than a few years since I played COTG, or for that matter, LOW. I recently picked up the Early Classics set and am looking to get a fed using that set. Are there any suggestions, i.e. arenas, tournaments, etc. that anyone can offer.
Any help would be greatly appreciate.

I started by recreating the first card detailed in the handbook and then having tournaments for the Galaxian and Galaxian tag titles.Then building the rivalries in particular the one that will lead to Dorado Sundown vs The Guardians in the first ever Cosmic cage match.

EC was my favorite era to play! I kept it pretty simple (sort of like 70's and 80's territory wrestling). Special matches were used for feud blowoffs, reality-based storylines (I don't incorporate a lot of sci-fi into my feds anyway), and slow builds in the storylines.

I loved the original Early Classics PDF and love the new version as well.
The handbook actually has suggestions for the first card and the GWF and Tag title tournament brackets.
Later on you could make a POW Champion too.

I'd probably wait unless you have a way to access the original EC expansion set and the original EC cards. As it is, you'll get through the first two years of EC with the new set and not really have anywhere else to go. It makes for a good supplemental promotion than a primary as it is right now.
Assuming we're getting another EC set (I have to imagine we are this winter) that covers another two year period (or the rest of EC), it'll probably be a great starting point.

The PDF to Print for the pre-2087 years are still available on the online store just in case anyone doesn't want to wait. Yes, the misc EC set is hard to find (I had to get one from ebay) but I've learned not to wait for possible releases. Besides, Tom in an interview said the EC ReImagined was made for new players in mind who will pick up ReImagined 2087 and beyond.
EC ReImagined is literally the Starter Set for the CotG timeline.
