So I've been playing a lot of the Early Classics set that came out last year. I think I ran through every possible match and I am only about to start April. I run TV every week and have one Premium Live Event a month.
Any ideas on how to make it a tad more interesting? I've been booking shows based off rankings.
I need to start doing feuds - I know. What else though? Thoughts?
Ditch rankings! As Cornette says it’s about Grudges and Gold! Heroes and villains! Run an injury angle. Turn a baby face heel. Go against the grain, make it your own.

I was running into something like that in my first fed that's why I kind of do the touring system for my main fed. 50 cards a year broken into 10 tours of five shows.
I always intended to kind of go back and play out smaller territories but found I really liked this system and it built up to the big matches in real time (I only play on Saturdays one show a week).
Classics does have the hit of 2 years in one and i haven't got confirmation if that will continue or go to one year.

In the 80's Mania sets, they have these cool vignette, promo, and interview segment charts that I started using in my COTG fed for in between matches. I've tied it to my rankings by adding a "push" column in the spreadsheet that contributes or subtracts from their total ranking points. If the segment goes well they get 1-2 push points mediocre segs get 0, and a bad segment would take away a point or two. Also, if a bottom ranked guy beats a high ranked guy in a match I might give him a generous amount of these points in the neighborhood of 3-4 and take the same amount away from the high ranked guy.
