The annual tradition and 2nd biggest PPV on the calendar for TNA is this Saturday 7/20/24 and will be held in Montreal. Some good matches are already set.
- Moose defends the World title in a six-way elimination match. It will include Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin, Nic Nemeth, Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry.
- Jordynne Grace defends the KO Championship against Ash by Elegance.
- Mustafa Ali defends the X Division Championship against Mike Bailey.
- A.J. Francis defends both the TNA Digital Media Championship and the Canadian International Heavyweight Championship against PCO
- The Malisha defends the KO Tag Team title against Spitfire
I could see just about anyone winning in the World title match. Best guess is Moose retains to keep him and The System rolling or Joe Hendry wins to cash in how over he is right now. But the other four could win for different reasons as well.
Grace should defend successfully. Will not be shocked if Ash by Elegance wins but just do not see it happening.
Ali might hold on to the X title. Mike might win it. A real coin toss for me on this one.
Only reason I could see PCO winning is the card is in Canada and they are lesser titles. One that was dead and buried, much like PCO has been before, and brought back by TNA. AJ winning helps him look tougher as beating PCO is a nice win.
First off, if I have not said it before I love the name The Malisha. I know I have said before that I feel TNA has been on fire with their names recently. This is another one I can see going either way. The System is being pushed so Malisha winning makes sense. I will say this. I feel that who ever losses will sadly break up. Masha joining The System was to give Alisha a tag partner. Spitfire has been having competition to see who is better so egos could get in the way.
I am assuming at least one more match will be added. Something involving NXT. Catch Crew and Rascalz is likely in. I can see a total of 2-3 more matches added. I expect to see Rosemary do something HUGE at the PPV. They have been teasing it and Slammiversary is a great place especially with her being Canadian as well.
Who do you think will make an appearance? I could see Bobby Roode as part of a Team Canada thing. Either to help EY if he gets a match, just to hang out with him or maybe a HOF induction for Team Canada. I wonder if Sting would make an appearance just to say hi. James Storm maybe? I am sure there will be at least one surprise I did not see coming. TNA has been doing a good job of that with this PPV.
