Today my NHL team the Vegas Golden Knights announced their newest minor league team the Tahoe Knight Monsters who will begin playing next year in the Nevada area of Lake Tahoe. The Tahoe Knight Monsters join the Henderson Silver Knights as the minor league teams for the Vegas Golden Knights.

the Tahoe Knight Monsters (who be an ECHL affiliate) replace the Savannah Ghost Pirates and, being from Lake Tahoe, means both minor league teams of the Golden Knights will be located in Nevada

Ghost Pirates was a better nickname but I do like the logo.

ECHL is a fun league. When I lived in IL I went to some Peoria Rivermen games while they were part of it. That east coast keeps moving more and more west lol.

Yeah, minor league games are fun and a great value. If I still lived in Henderson, I probably would have gone to alot of Silver Knights games (I have been to their arena for other events and it is a great minor league venue with Medieval architecture as it was built specifically for the Silver Knights) as they are located along my old cross street of Green Valley Parkway. Speaking of minor league games located on my street, I currently live almost on the same street as the Las Vegas Aviators and I am going to one of their games against Salt Lake City this weekend, either Friday or Sunday as I will be watching Slammiversary on Saturday.
