Jerry is the headliner it turns out. Also, minor typo in the blurb calls it an 8 card set but the actual ordering area is correct calling it a four card set.

I'm going to hold off ordering all 3 of the new sets for a while. In addition to the 3 summer releases in the past few months I've also ordered all the Future Shock & FTR sets plus GWF 2137 so I've definitely spent more than enough on cards lately.

I was thinking of just waiting till the holiday cycle release as well.

Hmmm. I gotta say, if Jerry Jarrett is the headliner in this set, I think I'll hold off as well. After the Samartino card being released, this set seems... underwhelming. No worries though. I have more than enough cards/feds to keep this old man busy.

I mean, we had fair warning, I think, that there wasn't going to be a Bruno hiding in this set.

I mean, we had fair warning, I think, that there wasn't going to be a Bruno hiding in this set. A fair point. Not every set will appeal to every buyer. Still, I can only speak for myself with this set. If others are looking forward to it... awesome! I truly hope they enjoy it. I may pick it up eventually, or I may not. Time will tell. In the end the names in "any" set have to appeal to the buyer/promoter to generate the interest to buy the set. Sadly, it hasn't done that for me. Happy gaming all. Peace.

I felt pretty much the same way about the recent "hardcore" 4-pack with Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill, etc. No one in that set really did it for me. Much like you, I may eventually grab it, but it wasn't a priority the way most other sets have been, while I know others were thrilled to get it. Different strokes for different folks, and all that.

I find every set to be a win win personally as it gives us a nice selection of names to add to our feds. I especially enjoy when we get those lower on the card/ enhancement guys and gals and we have some of our favourites we root on to hopefully hold a title if the dice allow. But even the mid, upper mid and main eventer talent we get is superb. With only two names so far I already know what to do with them. I mean Jerry Jarrett reuniting with Jackie Fargo is a big one and will show up in my NWA fed looking to take home some gold in the NWA USA Tag Team Championship Tournament. The last two names I can't wait to find out who they are.

I am definitely tagging Jackie and Jerry. Jackie's been wanting a full time partner and he and Jerry were the team in Memphis for a while.
