I was starting to team Jackie with Greg Valentine (as Johnny Fargo) but I think Jerry will be the better fit. Looking forward to this set and to see the other two names.

So let's go through and see who fits Travis clue ... Todd Bridges, Dean Higuchi, Dan Kroffit, Jake Robert's, Buff Bagwell, Matt Rivera, Beth Phoenix ... *eye roll* Dave Meltzer *eye roll* ... Mike Rodgers, Bill Kersten, Mike Chapman, Mimi Lesseos ... before 1990 hard to read ... Stan Stasiak, Mike Mazurki.
I feel like it could be Mazurki as he's the original president maybe?

I mean, we had fair warning, I think, that there wasn't going to be a Bruno hiding in this set. A fair point. Not every set will appeal to every buyer. Still, I can only speak for myself with this set. If others are looking forward to it... awesome! I truly hope they enjoy it. I may pick it up eventually, or I may not. Time will tell. In the end the names in "any" set have to appeal to the buyer/promoter to generate the interest to buy the set. Sadly, it hasn't done that for me. Happy gaming all. Peace. I am likely holding off till later in the year unless one of he remaining names I can fit. While I remember Jerry Jarrett as a promoter , have little interest in his wrestling. Am afraid he would go into the little used pile such as Jackie Fargo as the styles never mesh with my fed. Have so many cards that are unused do not want to drag more talent into the backburner. Also am totally unfamiliar with the other name. I began watching wrestling in the 82-84 period but do not recall but would use him 100x more than Jerry Jarrett. |
