I'm having a tough time deciding which of the blessings that 2124 will bring to us excites me the most. As a longtime Gladiator fan, the new Aethrans have me pretty charged up, but I also want to know who Iron Hand is, I want to see the three-card set, I can't wait to see Swarm's kid in action, and I want to know what the deal is with The Main Event.
Throw in the mystery of HECTOR, THE HOLY BROWN BEAR, and this is one heckuva an edition to focus one's excitment on.
I think I'm slightly more excited about new (and improved -greatly, I hope) Aethrans, but again, there's a lot to get excited about.
So what's making you count down the days to the release of 2124. What's the #1 thing that has you excited about the upcoming set.

Glads. without a doubt. But this is a fully packed edition, so much I am looking forward to.

New Gladiators for sure. This team has been in a rut for a while now and needed an infusion of new blood and a heel turn. Though from what I'm reading its going to be another Aethran Civil War.

I like this poll, because every choice on here is gold. It's rare that you get something out there where there is something for everyone that's all good. Myself, I'm curious to the identity of Iron Hand, because I have multiple suspects for who is behind the mask/face plate. There are enough characters out there who could pull it off, but learning who it is exactly is going to be a sweet moment.

Think you're reading too much into it Dharneth......I don't think it will so much be a civil war as simply a major replacement.

You know, I'm actually planning to debut the new Gladiators in Aethran civil war fashion, and I got the idea from a funny hunch I have (and Dharneth clearly has too) that we're going to see just that in the actual GWF continuum.
It may not happen in 2124, but I think we're going to see it within the next two releases. Again, call it a hunch.

The last time I was this excited about an update was while I was waiting for the debut of The Dark Knight (film) or the new season of The Sopranos to start. So much intrigue. So many mysteries. So many storylines to discover, digest and react to.

You didn't even mention the ongoing Mother Superior-Encubus-Bloodline saga. So much good stuff to look forward to.
How many days away Jim?

That one is a powder keg that has been building for years... and when it explodes, I think it is going to be highly destructive. For those three alone, I think 2124 is going to be one of the emotionally charged sets. And given everything going into this one, I think it could set the bar as the most dramatic chapter in GWF history.
