Card 01 - Memorial Arena in Niagara Falls, September 1, 2024
Canadian Heavyweight Title Tournament Round One
Great Gama defeated Gary Albright in just over seventeen and half minutes. Albright was in a bad mood and got under the skin of referee Morgan Dollar as soon as he stepped into the ring. Albright then jumps Gama at ringside before Gary Michael Cappetta could finish his introductions. Gama was ready however, and bounced Albright’s face off the ringside table. Once the action entered the ring this was a classic battle that raged back and forth. Twice Albright connected with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX but could not get the three count. Gama came back and a GAMA THROW almost ended it. Gama used a pair of crushing bear hugs to take the steam out of Albright but he still had enough to rock the fans with a released German suplex on Gama and a double arm suplex as well. Gama countered back into control and advanced into the semi-finals with a second GAMA THROW. ***
William Muldoon picked up a stunning victory over Harley Race by disqualification. Dick Woehrle was in charge of the action that went back and forth with counters. Race was able to land an early PILEDRIVER followed by a VERTICAL SUPLEX but could not get the three count. Muldoon was able to stick around thanks to his conditioning. Hammerlock & ½ nelson did some damage. Race came back after getting the best of brawl in front of Dr. Mike Lano but Muldoon was able to superplex Race to the mat. The action went back to the floor where Race slammed Muldoon face first into the ringside table and Woehrle quickly called for the bell after almost fourteen minutes. ** ½
In a thriller, Vampiro overcame Antonio Inoki with a NAIL IN THE COFFIN after just over 15 minutes of action. Dick Woehrle was in charge of the match once again. Vampiro went move for move with Inoki from the open bell. Inoki managed to kick out after a NAIL IN THE COFFIN at the last possible second. Inoki came back and picked up his own near falls after a driving knee drop and an ENZUIGRI. Vampiro slammed Inoki from the top of the corner late in the match and never looked back ending it with his finisher. Inoki is not very happy with what appears to be a quick three count from the official. ***
Terry Gordy downed Blackjack Mulligan in a wild hoss fight to close out the first round of action. The action spilled to the floor several times in the opening minutes but Morgan Dollar let the two big men beat on each other. Both men ate the ringside table before Gordy lead the action back into the ring. Gordy then used his ORIENTAL SPIKE several time but could not get the submission. Mulligan brawled his way back into the match including a big boot to the face and lariat. It was back and forth until Gordy countered a backdrop with a piledriver. Gordy controlled from that point and a PILEDRIVER ended it after just over twelve minutes. ***
Canadian Heavyweight Title Tournament Semi Finals
Great Gama downed William Muldoon [Vintage Charts] to advance to the finals after just over ten minutes of action. Gama came out quickly and overpowered Muldoon. A GAMA THROW nearly ended it. Muldoon came back and the match was battle of counters. Muldoon was slowly overwhelmed and Gama landed a gut wrench throw for a what appeared to be a quick three count from Morgan Dollar. * ½
Vampiro bested Terry Gordy in just over two minutes. Gordy looked to use his size to get the upper hand but spinning round kicks and a superkick found their target leading to a NAIL IN THE COFFIN sending Vampiro into the finals. DUD
Danny Hodge defeated Jerry Brisco in about nine and half minutes. Hodge and Brisco shook hands before the bell and Hodge took over the match countering each move that Brisco could come up with and using his own holds in an effort to get the victory. The finish came after an airplane spin that dropped Brisco for the three count. * ½
Canadian Heavyweight Title Tournament Finals
Vampiro capped off an impressive night defeating Great Gama with a top rope spin kick to claim the Canadian Heavyweight Title after just over seven and half minutes. Morgan Dollar has strict instructions for both competitors before the bell. The story in this match was Gama’s struggled with the fighting style of his opponent and he was never able to solve the puzzle. A superkick nearly ended it before Vampiro struck from the top to claim the gold.* 1/2
Thanks to a talent influx from Japan, the first card is a huge success drawing fans from both sides of the border to Niagara Falls to witness the crowning of Vampiro as the first Canadian Heavyweight Champion!
Up next, the Memorial Auditorium in Kitchener will host the tournament to determine the first Canadian Open Tag Team Champions. There will also be five other non-tournament matches presented. Fans can look forward to the following bouts:
* Paul Ellering will lead Hawk & Animal, the Road Warriors into action as they attempt to claim the territory’s tag team gold. Their first round opponents are no strangers to tag team gold themselves as they will take on The Dream Team of Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake with Johnny Valiant in their corner * In an interesting clash of styles, the Killer Bees team of Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair will square off with the team from the Back Alleys of South Philly, the Pit Bulls * “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant is coming to Kitchener and will be in action against fan favourite Koko B. Ware * Austin Idol was not pleased about being omitted from the Canadian Heavyweight Title Tournament and he is out to show promoters and the fans the error of their ways when he takes on the always popular Billy Wicks * In what some consider a dream match, England’s Johnny Saint will be in action when he faces Danny Hodge in a battle of the junior heavyweights

Card #2 - Memorial Auditorium in Kitchener, September 8, 2024
Canadian Open Tag Team Title Tournament – Round One
Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering defeated The Dream Team w/Johnny Valiant after just over twenty-six minutes of action. What an opening bout to the tournament. Referee Morgan Dollar put his mark on the contest when he ejected both Paul Ellering and Johnny Valiant before the match started. After the bell, the story in this one was the Warriors tossing around Brutus Beefcake for a large percentage of the match. Greg Valentine made a key pin save after the DOOMSDAY DEVICE about half way through the match. Both sides were able to make key tags but it was the Warriors who set the pace. At one point, Valentine and Beefcake were tagging in out almost every other move. The finish came when Animal caught Beefcake with a flying shoulder ram and Hawk blocked the pin save. ** ½
Killer Bees downed Pitbulls w/Francine to advance to the finals of the tournament. The Pitbulls cut off B. Brian Blair early and dominated. Blair was able to kick out after The Guillotine and then get the hot tag to Jim Brunzell. From that point, the Bees took over with double teaming and kick tags focusing on Pitbull #1. Pitbull#2 saved his partner after a KILLER DROPKICK. Pitbull #1 managed to escape a pair of SLEEPERS from Blair but a BEE STING ended it after nine minutes. ** ½
Koko B. Ware rocked the fans with an impressive victory over “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant. Valiant was all over Gary Michael Cappetta before the match but Ware stormed the ring to intervene. The fans were on fire as Ware took the fight to Valiant for several minutes leading up to a BRAINBUSTER but Valiant managed to kick out just before Morgan Dollar finished his count. Valiant went after the eyes and used every dirty tactic he could to get back into the match earning great heat along the way. He landed not one, but two SUPER ELBOWS, and somehow Ware kicked out of the cover each time. The ringside electric, Ware picked up the pace again and landed a second BRAINBUSTER after about fourteen minutes to win the match. (Snake Eyes!). After the match, Johnny Valiant leads Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake to the ring for a three on one beat down. Too Cool storms the ring with chairs in hand before any damage is done. Ware grabs the mic and challenges Valiant and The Dream Team to a six man match! *** ½
Yukon Eric and Wilber Synder defeated Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill after about twelve and half minutes. The busy night of Morgan Dollar continued as he called for the bell. Synder was impress early on and should have had the match won with an ABDOMINAL STRETCH followed by pin but Doring broke up the cover and turned the momentum of the match. Doring picked up a near fall after a Forward Russian Leg Sweep and Synder was nearly counted out after being whipped in the ringsteps. Synder was eventually able to tag out after rolling through a deathjump attempt from Doring for a near fall. Eric dominated the balance of the action and a KODIAK KRUNCH ended it. *** ½ Baron Von Raschke downed Sam Houston by count-out. Joey Marella drew the officiating assignment for this encounter that saw Houston get the fans out of their seats for his high impact offence early on picking up near falls after a dropkick and a cross body block. Von Raschke literally had to scratch his way back into the contest in and out of the ring. Von Raschke managed to lock in his BRAIN CLAW three times during the encounter and each time Houston found a way to make the ropes or escape. The excitement at ringside just continued to build and Houston made a comeback late. The action spilled back to the floor where Von Raschke dropped Houston with a chair across the back and Houston could not regain the ring before the ten count after about thirteen and half minutes. ***
Austin Idol picked out a controversial victory over Billy Wicks. James Beard called for the bell and it was back and forth early. Austin tried to use his power to grind away at Wicks who countered back with hold of his own. A pair of piledrivers gave Austin a near fall before the action spilled to the floor. Idol grabbed a camera strap from Dr. Mike Lano’s bag and choked out Wicks with it. The fans were livid as Idol capitalized with a piledriver moments later for the win after just under six minutes. * ½
Danny Hodge overcame the challenge of Johnny Saint after just under eighteen minutes of action. Hodge came out and was the aggressor ignoring the handshake and instead starting an exchange of forearms as Dick Woehrle called for the bell. Hodge used his power to push around Saint who struggled to get anything going. Saint was crafty however and managed to kick out of three consecutive OAKLAHOMA SIDE ROLLS. Saint used THE RUSS ABOTT to almost take the win about mid way through the match and later gained near falls after a high cross body press and a cutblock and folding press. In the end, Hodge was too strong and used an airplane spin to get the pin. **** ½
Canadian Open Tag Team Title Tournament - Finals
Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering defeated Killer Bees to win the Canadian Open Tag Team Titles after just over ten and half minutes. The Warriors were in no mood to mess around and James Beard called for the bell. The Bees had a strategy to attempt to tag in out and quickly in an effort to get the upper hand but it did not work as the Warriors tossed around B. Brian Blair and then Jim Brunzell. A flying shoulder ram from Animal to Blair nearly ended it as did a POWER SLAM to Brunzell but it was the DOOMSDAY DEVICE to Blair that brought home the gold. **
Many at ringside were not surprised with the outcome of the Tag Team Title Tournament tonight as the Road Warriors are the first Canadian Open Tag Team Champions! Lots of hostility tonight outside of the tournament as “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant appears to have his hands full with a fired up Koko B. Ware especially after the post match attack on the Birdman tonight. Sam Houston will be looking to get back into the ring with Baron Von Raschke sooner rather and later as the Texan gave the German everything he could handle and then some and only a chair shot tipped the outcome in Von Raschke’s favour. Speaking of wanting to get back into ring, Billy Wicks has a legitimate issue with Austin Idol after Idol tactics tonight that lead him to victory.
Up next, there will be action from the North Wentworth Community Arena in Hamilton featuring a pair of number one contender’s match and huge six man tag team encounter. * In a battle of Junior Heavyweights, Jerry Brisco will test his skills against English star Johnny Saint in what should be a scientific classic * “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant has accepted the challenge of Koko B. Ware and will be joined by The Dream Team, Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine with Johnny Valiant in their corner as the take on Ware and the team of Too Cool, Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor. * In what should be an intense battle, Terry Gordy has signed to take on Yukon Eric * In the first of two number one contenders matches, Killer Bees will square off against The Pitbulls in a rematch from tonight entertaining tournament bout. The winter will face the Canadian Open Tag Team Champions Road Warriors on September 22nd in Oshawa * In the second of two number one contenders matches, Harley Race will be looking to revenge his first round loss against William Muldoon in the Canadian Heavyweight Title tournament. This time, the winner of the match will go onto face Canadian Heavyweight Champion Vampiro on the September 29, 2024, Maple Leaf Gardens event. * Also in action, Gary Albright, Great Gama, Austin Idol, Antonio Inoki, Ric McCord, and Wilbur Synder.

The danger of the Roadies....if you use them, they'll likely win your tag belts and you'll spend most of your time trying to take the belts off them. It's no wonder that Crockett pretty much avoided them with that.
Fun show as usual.

Card #03 - North Wentworth Community Arena in Hamilton, September 15, 2024
Austin Idol downed Ric Mccord by count-out. Joey Morella called for the bell and Mccord came out flying and kept Idol on the defensive. However, Idol used his power to get back into the match picking up near falls after a jumping knee smash and a sleeperhold. A piledriver rocked Mccord and forced the action to the floor. Idol dropped Mccord with a chair shot drawing great heat. Mccord could not regain the ring before the ten count after just about five and half minutes. Idol is not finished and looks to take out Mccord with a piledriver onto the floor but Billy Wicks arrives and chases Idol to the back! *
Johnny Saint over Jerry Brisco in a scientific battle that lasted just under six minutes. Saint and Brisco shook hands under the watch of Dick Woehrle and then set to work with counters. Saint took over after a JOHNNY SAINT SPECIAL nearly ended it. Brisco came back with an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL but could only get a two and half count. Saint continued to press the attack and Brisco ran out of responses as Saint locked in THREE IN ONE for the win. **
“Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & Dream Team w/Johnny Valiant defeated Koko B. Ware & Too Cool when Valiant pinned Brian Christopher. Dick Woehrle had his hands full with this many bodies involved. The fans were solidly behind Ware and Too Cool and they responded by taking the fight to their opponents right from the opening bell. A tag to Greg Valentine turned things around. Ware ended up cut off from his corner and Valiant landed a SUPER ELBOW but could get the three count. Ware would eventually be able to hot tag out after tossing Beefcake off the corner. Christopher ended up in the ring with Valiant and Valiant took over landing his SUPER ELBOW for the win after about thirteen and half minutes. **
Terry Gordy beat Yukon Eric in a hard hitting battle that lasted just under fifteen minutes. James Beard called for the bell and the brawl was on. Gordy was just slightly larger and slightly faster than Eric and that made a huge difference at the action unfolded. Gordy used a PILEDRIVER for an early near all and wore out Erick with two ORIENTAL SPIKES during the action. Eric battled back gaining near falls after a Woodsman’s Chop and a body blocks into the turnbuckle. Gordy just proved the stronger of the two men tonight using back to back BAMM BAMM SLAMS to get the three count. ***
Pitbulls w/Francine defeated Killer Bees in a number one contender’s match. Dick Woehrle drew the referee duties for this match and ringside was uneasy about the possibility of a disqualification. The Bees used their agility to get the upper hand but a quick tag and a drop toehold & flying elbow to Jim Brunzell set things up for the quick win after just four minutes. SUPER BOMB connected and B. Brian Blair could not make the save. *
Wilbur Synder bested Great Gama by count-out [Vintage Charts]. Gama got into it with Morgan Dollar before the bell with an exchange of words that left the referee frustrated. The action unfolded at a slow pace with both men using counters. It was back and forth with no real clear advantage until both men tumbled to the floor and Gama ended up getting the worst of it. Gama barely regained the ring and when he did he managed to defend himself but was not really able to sustain any offense. Gama ended up being tossed back to the floor, striking his head a second time. This time, Gama stayed down and was counted out after just over thirteen minutes. **
Antonio Inoki submitted Gary Albright. Inoki and Albright exchanged counters under the watch of Morgan Dollar. Dollar got caught up in the action and knocked to the mat (five moves). Albright hit a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX for what could have been the pin but Dollar was still down. The official recovered and Inoki took over the action and used a OCTOPUS HOLD to get the win after eight and half minutes. * ½
Harley Race defeated William Muldoon in a number one contender’s match. Race was all over Morgan Dollar before the bell and the official was anything but pleased. Muldoon dominated the action early keeping race tied up in holds and down on the mat. Hammerlock & ½ nelson looked very impressive. Race powered back with back to back back suplexes. From that point, this match belonged to Race. Three times he nearly took the win with a VERTICAL SUPLEX. A DIVING HEADBUTT landed but only resulted in a two and half count. Race then hit a fourth VERTICAL SUPLEX for the win after just over twelve minutes. *** ½
Lots to unpack after tonight’s action. We now know the main event for the upcoming September 29th card at Maple Leaf Gardens as Vampiro will put his Canadian Heavyweight Title on the line against the winner of tonight’s number one contender’s match, Harley Race.
We also know the main event for next event, which will take place at the Civic Auditorium in Oshawa as The Road Warriors will defend the Canadian Open Tag Team Titles against the Pit Bulls. In addition to the huge Canadian Open Tag Team Title Match, the following matches have been signed

Ware will be in action against “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant. Last time, Ware came away with a popular comeback win and will be looking to have the same success next week * Danny Hodge will be looking to continue his impressive winning streak going when the faces the challenge of Billy Wicks * In a strong style showdown, Antonio Inoki will face the powerful challenge of Terry Gordy * In what should be a classic scientific showdown, William Muldoon battles Johnny Saint.

Card 04 - Civic Auditorium in Oshawa, September 22, 2024
Killer Bees defeated Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill after just under seven minutes. The Bees were focused and used double teaming to get Roadkill in some trouble and then Doring. Roadkill made the save after a BEE STING but minutes later, the Bees connected with a second BEE STING for the three count from Dick Woehrle. * ½
“Handsome” Jimmy Valiant bested Koko B. Ware in a rematch from the action in Kitchener. Both men exercised caution early on after James Beard called for the bell. Ware picked up the pace and even smashed Valiant with a chair during a brawl on the floor! Valiant came back running Ware into the ring post. Both men were wearing the crimson mask now as the action went back forth. Valiant took over and picked out a near fall after an elbow to chest. Late in the match, Valiant countered a charge to the corner with a lariat and then followed with a SUPER ELBOW for the win after just over eleven minutes. **
Danny Hodge pinned Billy Wicks. James Beard was in the charge of the match and both men shook hands as the bell sounded. Hodge dominated the match with his superior counter wresting and mix of brawling and science. Wicks had absolutely nothing going but managed to kick out after an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL and avoid being submitted. Wicks was able to counter a cross body block deathjump and rolled through for his own near fall. Wicks was suddenly in the match and nearly ended it with a crossface headlock but Hodge was able to come back. A whip to the corner resulted in both men crashing together. Hodge recovered first and ended it after just over fifteen minutes with another OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL. *** ½
Wilbur Snyder downed Blackjack Mulligan by disqualification. Morgan Dollar drew his first assignment of the night and had his hands full with the action spilling outside early. Snyder bounced Mulligan’s face off the ringside table and then when the action spilled back to the floor, Mulligan used a chair to drop Snyder leading to the disqualification after just over two minutes. DUD
Baron Von Raschke and Sam Houston battled to a double disqualification. Dick Woehrle was unusually tolerant of both competitors who clearly had more interest in brawling on the floor then competing between the ropes in this rematch from Kitchener. Houston nearly took it with a BULLDOG and then worked the arm. A dropkick landed and resulted in a two count. The match spilled outside and this time, the referee quickly called for the bell and disqualified both competitors after just over three and half minutes who continued to brawl until security arrived to break things up. * ½
William Mulldoon bested Johnny Saint in an absolute scientific classic. Saint and Muldoon traded counters in front of James Beard from bell to bell. Muldoon really pressed the attack early on and used hammerlock & ½ nelson to wear out Saint along with double shoulder locks. Muldoon could not get the pin or submission however and Saint came back with a JOHNNY SAINT SPECIAL. Both men traded near falls with roll ups after missed turnbuckle charges. Muldoon’s punishing mat game proved to be the difference and his locked in a hammerlock & ½ nelson which transitioned to a cover for the three count after just over twenty-four minutes. *****
Terry Gordy downed Antonio Inoki after just under seven minutes. Gordy used his size to push around Inoki from the opening bell. Inoki managed to lock in an armbreaker but Gordy quickly made the ropes and then picked up his attack leading to a BAMM BAMM SLAM for the three count from Joey Marella. *
Pitbulls w/Francine downed Canadian Open Tag Team Champions Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering by disqualification. The fans were braced for some hard hitting action and did not leave disappointed. The Pitbulls were able to keep both Hawk & Animal off balance with their double teaming and picked up a near fall after a SUPER BOMB on Animal. The champions battled back. A double clothesline stunned Pitbull #2 and later Pitbull #1 found himself cut off from his corner but managed to kick out after Animal’s power slam. The match spilled to the floor and Animal took things too far when he battering rammed Pitbull #1 into the ring post earning a disqualification from referee Joey Marella after nineteen and half minutes. *** ½
What a main event with the Pitbulls showing that they cannot be overlooked in their quest to win the Canadian Open Tag Team Titles and the champions Road Warriors found out first hand. The two teams have been signed to clash once again for the Titles on October 6th in Kingston. The issues between Koko B. Ware and “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant are clearly unfinished as both men bled buckets tonight with Valiant getting his hand raised at the end of the action. Another feud that is growing in intensity is between Sam Houston & Baron Von Raschke. Up next is action from Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto featuring the tournament for the Commonwealth Title and the World Title being defended in the main event.
* Canadian Heavyweight Champion Vampiro will make his initial title defence against number one contender Harley Race in the main event. Race managed to earn his match with victory of William Muldoon while Vampiro captured the title by winning an eight man tournament back on September 1st. * In the opening round of the Commonwealth Title Tournament, “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant battled Austin Idol in a battle of two of the least popular competitors in the territory * At the exact opposite, two fan favourites will meet in the first round of the Commonwealth Title Tournament as Koko B. Ware will test his skills against Sam Houston * Baron Von Raschke meets the popular Wilbur Synder in first round action of the Commonwealth Title Tournament * Danny Hodge has yet to be defeated but he will be tested once again by Johnny Saint with the winner moving on in the Commonwealth Title Tournament. Hodge already has a victory over Saint back on September 8th in Kitchener. Will Saint be able to stop the momentum of Hodge who has to be one of the favourites to leave Toronto with the belt?

Card 05 – Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, September 29, 2024
Commonwealth Title Tournament – Round One
Danny Hodge defeated Johnny Saint. The fans that showed up early were treated to a classic mat battle to open the tournament. Hodge was able to use his power to dominate large stretches of the action with Saint getting his own offensive in after using his speed to counter. Hodge managed to escape a THREE IN ONE late in the match and then came back using an airplane spin to get the three count from Joey Morella after just under ten minutes. **
Baron Von Raschke downed Wilbur Synder with a BRAIN CLAW. James Beard was in charge of the match which featured back and forth action from the opening bell. Both men had stretches in control of the action and picked up near falls. Synder escapes a BRAIN CLAW about mid way through the contest. The action started to get more intense and spilled outside several times. Beard let the two men go at it and it was Von Raschke who benefited. Von Raschke managed to lock in his finisher a second time and advance to the semi-finals after twenty one minutes. ** Sam Houston beat Koko B. Ware. Dick Woehrle called for the bell after handshakes between the two fan favourites. Houston was able to execute his game plan keeping Ware grounded on the mat for most of the match and working over the upper body and lower body with holds and counters. When the pace picked, Ware had a few moments but Houston was consistently able to slow things down before taking with win after just over seven minutes with a BULLDOG. * ½
Austin Idol defeated “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant by disqualification. Things became violent quickly in this battle of rulebreakers when Idol bloodied Valiant during a brawl on the floor running him into the ring post. Valiant was a mess in no time at all but managed to avoid being pinned after a jumping knee smash. Valiant countered a backdrop with a piledriver to get control. Another piledrive nearly ended it. Valiant then pulled something out of his boot and smashed Idol with it. Morgan Dollar saw the use of the foreign object and called for the bell after seven minutes. * ½
Commonwealth Title Tournament – Semi-Finals
Baron Von Raschke beat Danny Hodge. The fans were solidly behind Hodge who looked to use his countering and wrestling knowledge to overcome the brawling and power of his opponent. Hodge had some early success but Von Raschke managed to smash Hodge across the back with a chair during a brawl on the floor. Joey Marella let the action continue and Von Raschke controlled most of match after that point. Hodge made the ropes to escape a BRAIN CLAW but Von Raschke kept attacking and used a second BRAIN CLAW to reach the finals after just over ten minutes. **
Austin Idol crushed Sam Houston after just two minutes. Idol is not impressed as he makes his way to the ring and takes his frustrations out on referee Morgan Dollar who does not look very happy about the verbal attack. Houston cannot get anything going but manages to make the ropes to survive a LAS LEGAS LEGLOCK. Idol just keeps coming and takes it with a second LAS VEGAS LEGLOCK. DUD
Canadian Heavyweight Champion Vampiro escaped Harley Race by disqualification. The fans were buzzing during the introductions. Race took over with brawling and power but the champion came back landing a series of kicks. Race trapped Vampiro in a deathlock but Vampiro made the ropes. The action spilled outside. Race came after Vampiro on the ring ramp. Referee Joey Marella attempted to get the competitors back into the ring but Race took him out with a headbutt. The brawl continued and when Marella regained his senses he called for the disqualification after just over four and half minutes. Both men brawled to the back. *
Commonwealth Title Tournament - Finals
Austin Idol defeated Baron Von Raschke. The fans hated Von Raschke so much that they actually got behind Idol after Joey Marella called for the bell. It was back and forth early and then Idol took over the match. Idol picked up near falls after a clothesline and a jumping knee smash. Idol even came off the top with a deathjumps cross body block for a near fall. Idol had just too many weapons and it was a sleeper that end the match and gave Idol the title after about seven and half minutes. * ½
Congratulations are in order for Austin Idol who claimed the Commonwealth Title after surviving the eight man tournament to claim the gold. Idol’s first title defence will be on October 20th in St. Catharines but it is currently unknown who will be the challenger for the new champion on that night. The gossiping grappler is reporting there was a great deal of dressing room heat after tonight’s action at the Gardens centered around Japanese competitor Antonio Inoki. Inoki’s run in the territory ended tonight as he is committed to dates in his home country in the coming weeks. Inoki was alleged to have made a significant offer to the current Canadian Open Tag Team Champions Road Warriors to join him on the trip and to make a tour of Japan. The offer was said to be significant enough that Warrior’s manager Paul Ellering was backstage tonight even though the Warriors were not booked on the card. Promoters were quick to break up an apparent meeting between the two sides and Inoki has now departed the territory. It unsure if he would be welcome back at this point. As a side note, Gary Albright was already scheduled for a tour of Japan himself and was wrapped up with the territory as well. Also departing for international date, in particular in Europe, is Johnny Saint.
Up next, we head down the highway for action at The Centre in Kingston with the following matches signed: * In what should be an intense rematch from the recent card in Oshawa, Canadian Open Tag Team Champions Road Warriors will put their titles on the line against the Pitbulls. The challengers gave the Warriors everything they could handle during their last encounter leaving Oshawa with a disqualification victory but without the belts. Given the combatant’s reputation for violence, tickets went fast and the fans are expecting mayhem * William Muldoon upset Harley Race in the first round of the Canadian Heavyweight Title Tournament and Race was able to get his win back a couple weeks later in a number one contender’s match in Hamilton. Now the two men will once again clash not only for bragging rights, but also to move up the rankings. * In a second rematch from the Oshawa card, Wilber Synder will step back into the ring against Blackjack Mulligan. The last time these two clashed, it was two minutes of intensity that ended with a chair shot and a disqualification loss for Mulligan. Neither competitor was happy with the result will be looking to get the clean victory this time around. * In a battle to determine the next challenger for Canadian Heavyweight Champion Vampiro, Terry Gordy will step into the ring with Great Gama. This should contrast of styles should make for a fascinating encounter. The winner will earn themselves a shot at Vampiro and the title on October 13th in London. * Too Cool will be back in action as they look to take down the hated Dream Team who will have Johnny Valiant in their corner. These two were last in the ring against each other as part of six man tag team battle in Hamilton. Things did not go the way of Too Cool on that night and they will be looking for a better result this time around.

Eric then was the defensive but with the fans behind him, Eric power back and took over the action. A Woodman’s Chop set up a KODIAK KRUNCH. Brickhouse Brown beat Disco Inferno in battle of competitors making their debut. Both wrestlers wanted to get off to a winning start in the territory and it showed in the intensity. Inferno took over and landed a LAST DANCE for a near fall. Brown then made the ropes to prevent the three count from Joey Marella after a second LAST DANCE.
